The mock drafts seem to be settling in as far as the first nine picks go. After that it seems a craphshoot. Seems most now think Bortles is mid-1st round and Bridgewater is 2nd round.

1. Houston - Clowney
2. St. Louis - Robinson
3. Jacksonville - Mack
4. Cleveland - Manziel
5. Oakland - Watkins
6. Atlanta - Matthews
7. Tampa Bay - Evans
8. Minnesota - Donald
9. Buffalo - Lewan

I'd be shocked if that $40 million is fully guaranteed. My guess is maybe half of it is fully guaranteed and the rest is guaranteed for injury only.

I would love to see that rumored Falcons trade come about but I doubt it happens and think we end up drafting Clowney at #1. Then depending on how the draft develops, we may trade back in toward the end of the first round to draft our QB.

I think he can play that contract out... Usually takes DBs a few years to fall off or hit a wall.

He's picking the right time to get divorced.

We're in a good position. We can stay at #9 and take the best player available, trade back to grab an extra pick in the 2nd or 3rd round, or we can make a major move and go get Watkins. As boring as it is, I think the best move for us is to stay put and take the best OT available. RT is the only glaring hole on our roster, and we really need to shore that up.

Hoping the Browns don't draft a QB with the 4th pick. Then if a QB falls, they would have to leapfrog the Cardinals who pick right after us at #20 to get him, assuming it's a guy they covet. I wouldn't mind adding a 3rd rounder and only lose 7 spots, which would probably be the cost for them to jump from #26 to #19. Something tells me we're going to reach anyway.

I'd like that scenario for my team as well.

per pft:
If they don’t cut him by February 2016, he’ll earn $40 million guaranteed.

Chad-we DON'T want Johnny Football. DON'T, DON'T, DON'T.

If we draft this pre-madonna, many of us Browns Diehards will be LIVID.

Only 75 players from the 2010 draft are still with their original teams. That represents 29.4 percent of 255 drafted players, but the percentage is even lower because it doesn’t account for undrafted free agents. Oakland doesn’t have anything left from the 2009 or 2010 drafts. Carolina has only quarterback Cam Newton (first round) and wide receiver Kealoha Pilares (fifth round) left from 2011, and defensive end Greg Hardy (sixth) from 2010. Indianapolis has only tackle Anthony Castonzo (first) left from 2011, and no one from 2010.

I've made a few mocks, but my most recent one looks like:

1. Texans - Clowney
2. Rams - Matthews
3. Jaguars - Watkins
4. Browns - Manziel
5. Raiders - Mack
6. Falcons - Robinson
7. Buccaneers - Donald
8. Vikings - Bortles
9. Bills - Lewan
10. Lions - Evans
11. Titans - Barr

There will be at least one trade in the top 10 though.

I know Fisher pretty well. The Manziel talk is a total smokescreen. And considering Fisher sticks to guys he knows, Matthews makes way more sense than Robinson. Fisher and Bruce Matthews (Jake's father) spent a lot of time together and are great friends. Fisher knows Jake so well, and that does go a long way.

I don't agree with this reasoning, but that's vintage Fisher. I also think he will take Kyle Fuller at #13. Vincent Fuller was a corner with the Titans for several year. And Kyle may very well be the safest corner in the draft and has the versatility to play safety. Both S and CB are big needs for the Rams.

Who are we reaching for? Who wouldn't be a reach that you'd want?

We'll see. This is a strange situation where it seems every NFL fan wants their team to steer clear of Manziel while the NFL scouts and GM's love him. Everything I've heard, minus what Glazer said, indicates the Browns front office has a man crush on Manziel.
