6. Falcons - Robinson
7. Buccaneers - Donald
8. Vikings - Bortles
9. Bills - Lewan
10. Lions - Evans
11. Titans - Barr

There will be at least one trade in the top 10 though.

I know Fisher pretty well. The Manziel talk is a total smokescreen. And considering Fisher sticks to guys he knows, Matthews makes way more sense than Robinson. Fisher and Bruce Matthews (Jake's father) spent a lot of time together and are great friends. Fisher knows Jake so well, and that does go a long way.

I don't agree with this reasoning, but that's vintage Fisher. I also think he will take Kyle Fuller at #13. Vincent Fuller was a corner with the Titans for several year. And Kyle may very well be the safest corner in the draft and has the versatility to play safety. Both S and CB are big needs for the Rams.
I'd be fine with Watkins or Mack in Jacksonville. The way Bridgewater's stock has dropped they can probably take him with their 2nd round pick.

I don't know what everybody has against the kid. If the Falcons didn't have a QB, I wouldn't mind him.

Mike Mayock must not know much about the Falcons. He has them taking Taylor Lewan with the 6th (after Clowney, Mack, Robinson and Matthews all fall in the top 4), but dude has way too many off-field issues for a team like the Falcons to take on.

I really don't see Bridgewater falling out of the 1st round. People value pro days/combine way too much IMO. Bridgewater is still the best QB in the draft if you ask me.

And if Teddy is there at #11 I want us to take him. I would be torn between him and Barr, but we can't pass up on Teddy.

If Teddy did fall out of the 1st, the Texans would snatch him up with the 33rd pick. If they end up with Clowney and Bridgewater I will cry. Even in 2011 and 2012 I did not consider the Texans to be a very good team. They just benefited from a garbage division and cake schedule. But if they end up with Clowney and Teddy, I will finally fear them and expect a Super Bowl at some point.

I've gone through a lot of NFL expert mock drafts in recent days and I'd say about 80% of them don't have Bridgewater going 1st round. I really don't get him falling that far, but it appears it's likely to happen. Quite a few have him going #39 to Jacksonville.

I put very little stock into mock drafts. No one is a mock draft expert. Drafts are crazy, and no one can definitively say that Bridgewater will fall to the 2nd round. I can't definitely say he won't, but he was the #1 rated QB until the pro day. It would be silly to pass on him based on 6-7 bad throws without pads on and without his gloves. If he falls to the 2nd, Houston will take him. They would have to be full retard not to.

There's no difference in a mock draft I or you make and a mock draft Kiper/McShay make. They may get some inside info, but no one besides the individual teams knows what's going to happen. Smokescreens for days.

I tend to base my predictions on team needs and if that particular team has had a private workout with the player. I know the Titans typically will not pick a player that has not had a private visit with us... I assume that is the same for many teams.

I would also not be shocked if a team without an immediate need at QB took Bridgewater late in the 1st... like the Pack did with Rodgers. You guys could easily trade back into the late 1st round if he's still available.

Just don't get your hopes up that he'll be there at #39. I'll come back and eat crow if I'm wrong.

All that said, I think this QB class as a whole blows. It reminds me of 2011... I think Murray is the steal of the whole draft and Bridgewater will be the only one of the top QBs to be worth the pick.

It's really irritating they spread out the draft for so long now. 1 round on Thursday. Then what, 2 rounds Friday and Saturday the rest? At least give us the first 2 rounds. And having to wait till may is BS. Oh well at least it's here.

Lewan has 0 off field issues to contend with, (hes being named in some case officially but has yet to be charged with anything much less have any evidence served against him, all players involved have already been removed from the Michigan football team) the only issues he has is the guy mailed it in this year in college trying to protect his draft stock. The guy is a projected day 1 starter.

Lewan hasn't been charged because his attorney got the arraignment moved until after the draft, but unless a deal is reached he is going to be charged with one count of aggravated assault and two counts of assault and battery when he's arraigned later this month. There's also allegations that he tried to intimidate the woman that accused Michigan's kicker of raping her. He'll still almost certainly be a top 10 pick but he definitely has some red flags.

I've never watched the whole first round cause it takes too long, but I plan to tonight. If each team gets 10 minutes, and there are 32 teams, that would be over 5 hours. Does it really take that long?

No, most teams don't take all 10 minutes. I'd bet it'd be at most more like 4.5 hrs. I can't recall exactly how long it took last year.

That's what I usually do, but the Vikings like to trade back into the end of the 1st, so I'm going to watch it all this time.

I watch every round of the draft. At this point in the offseason, I'm starved for football. I NEED it.

Heard your team isn't counting on Blackmon making any contribution whatsoever this year.
