Still don't understand why the Chiefs gave Bowe such a big contract:

Bowe's $8.75 million salary for this year was guaranteed, but this suspension voided the guarantee (as well as $1.5 million that was guaranteed for next season). I wonder if the Chiefs will try to get Bowe to renegotiate a new contract with the threat of releasing him or just flat out release him because he's not worth anywhere near the money he's due and if he hit the open market he couldn't get near $8.75 million, especially in mid-August. The Chiefs have a lot of leverage if they want to use it.

You guys will probably see this on ESPN, but I watched our whole game and more than 30 penalties were enforced. Over 40 were called. All but about five were on the Saints. I've never seen anything close to this garbage before. Those refs are a joke. It was a two hour first half.

Ridiculous to be calling penalties that often in meaningless preseason game.

Saints: 22-184

They want to stress the enforcement of the defensive holding etc penalties so preseason is a good time to do it....once the season starts it should ease up or until the defense dbs learn to play under the "new" rules.
