Man a team wins one Super Bowl and the fans think no one can beat them. No one has repeated for a long time. It's called parity. Not much separates the good teams from the bad other than a couple of elite players in the right position.

Which the Seahawks seem to have a lot of.
And I'm not even a Seattle fan. Title defense begins in about 20mins, so we'll see.

I considered Bortles to be a Locker clone coming out of college. There's a lot of similarities IMO. If you're (not you personally - ESPN, etc.) going to hype him up and jock ride him you better do the same for Locker because he has looked every bit as good as Bortles this preseason. And Bortles faced some second string defenses.

All we do is fly under the radar... and that's where we want to be.

Locker was top 5 in passer rating (and we were 3-1) before going down. If he stays healthy we're a playoff team... maybe a wildcard, but as long as he's under center we'll be competing for the AFCS.

Also, Locker looked great his rookie year in the preseason too, so don't think Bortles is amazing just because of preseason.

My local NBC station isn't back on as of now, so those of you who aren't affected by the dispute w/Directv enjoy the game tonight.

I refuse to not watch the game tonight on my computer.

Rodgers being better than Wilson is not a legitimate reason to pick the Packers tonight.

Brees is also better than Wilson... How'd that work out for him last year? 0-2 against the Seahawks in Seattle.

Rodgers is also 0-1 against Wilson, albeit the Fail Mary game, and only put up 12 points. He was harrassed and sacked all night. I have my money on the Seahawks to cover the spread tonight and I took the under on total points in the game (which was like 47.5).

Packers can definitely win, but they'll need to be firing on all cylinders. The Seahawks have a superior roster.

I like Directv, as I've been with them for a long time...but sometimes I wish the NFL ticket was widely available, so I could go with someone else if I really wanted to...and not be tied to Directv(and the Ticket).

Oh well, it seems like most of these disputes get worked out fairly quickly so hopefully you don't miss too many NBC games.

I'm sorry, but running into the kicker should not award a 1st down. The penalty should be 1st & 15 for the opposing offense. The kicking team already resigned itself to punting away the ball. Always thought that was a dumb rule.

Marshawn Lynch running downfield lowers his helmet and spears the defender with the crown of his helmet.

Can someone explain to me why this is perfectly legal? What's the difference between this and a defender leading with the crown of his helmet to make the tackle?

Please Locker can't hold Bortles jock. When did Locker win a BCS Bowl game again? Bortles > Locker any day of the week and twice on Sunday
