Or just award the Timeout when it is called, if it was determined that someone other than the HC called it then the team gets penalized. Either the ref honors the timeout when it is called or he has to spend crucial time to make sure it is being called by the appropriate person, which would result in the play beginning before the timeout can be implemented.

Same here. And as I've said before, I'd be very surprised if Peterson gets anything more than some parenting or anger management classes and possibly a brief probation for this. Let the system play out and then the league/team can take any necessary action.

Jaguars coach Gus Bradley confirmed Monday the team will stick with Chad Henne at quarterback for Week 3 against the Colts.

Henne took ten sacks in Sunday's loss to Washington and was victimized on several drops, including on a would-be 80-yard touchdown bomb to UDFA receiver Allen Hurns. Still, signs point to the Jaguars beginning to waffle on their pre-season pledge to keep rookie Blake Bortles plastered to the bench. If the Jags get blown out again versus Indianapolis in Week 3, it could be Bortles time.

One of the picks was fluky... Rolando McClain made an insane INT that will end up on the top 10 plays.

This was a game we just weren't going to win no matter what. Our defense sucked just as much. Pollard dropped a pick 6 and they went on to score a TD that drive. So if he catches that ball things may have been different. Other than that it wasn't even close. We're lucky the score wasn't worse.

I'm hoping it's just a matchup issue. We can't face offenses that have a ton of weapons. The Chiefs were easy because we could focus all our attention on Charles. Couldn't do that with the Cowboys, as bad as they may be overall.

The Bengals are a far superior team, but now with AJ out I bet we play them close. No way I pick us to win though.

I don't what's wrong with that guy..he's looked great in a couple games I've watched but then again he's looked like a rookie at times. If Whisenhunt can't fix him this year, I hope you guys take a QB next draft. I saw that play from Delanie, he still looks like he's got some moves.

If your defense can play better on the run it looked good enough overall in that first game I watched. Luck goes both ways though so hopefully it's rolling back in your favor next week. Andy Dalton has looked pretty average so far apart from a few successful bombs, and they appear to be running a lot more now the RB coach is the OC.

And yeah RG3 is finished in this town if Cousins is even .500 and improving.

Had they not lucked into a winning streak and won the east his first year, the RG3 pick might have been one of the top 5 busts in NFL history... Now its just a big bust.

SMH at him... Cousins shows his leadership by actions, RG3 just talks the game... If you watched Cousins ran over 10+ yards to shake a hand after a big catch, never saw RG3 do that.

Yeah he was playing over/under with Tony Romo, they took turns overthrowing and underthrowing balls. The difference was the running game.

Vikings just had a press conference. Not much said. Basically reinstating Peterson and letting the legal process take its course.

CBS 11 Houston reports Adrian Peterson is being investigated for another child abuse accusation involving one of his other sons.

According to the news station, one of Peterson's four-year-old son's was disciplined by Peterson for cursing at one of his siblings. The boy sustained a scar over his right eye. Peterson has at least five children with multiple different women, and is believed to have as many as seven kids out of wedlock. If more information comes to light, the Vikings could discipline Peterson yet again.

Amusingly enough he has repeatedly said he punishes his kids in the same way his parents punished him - to teach "discipline." Guess that form of punishment was such a smashing success for AP (with his kids too numerous to count and all) he thought he'd pass it on to his kids.

You should have seen what the people were posting. I went over there the other day to see what they had to say just browsing. Some were saying what he was doing was right. Hitting your kid is OK ect. It was sick
