I can't imagine not watching my team play.

I understand that some people are legitimately unable to watch games sometimes, but if you opt out of watching for no reason, I think that's fake fandom. Hard for me to consider those types real fans. A lot of them are out there... Bandwagoners who will claim the best teams as their own but never watch any games.

I know the feel of not being able to watch your team. I work graveyard. I sure wish the Ravens had more night games like last year.

This happens; though if I'm away from home / out of state on game day, I try a few options, such as local sports bars or setting my recorder and staving off internet / TV until I watch the game.

Is TiVO/Cable box recorder a viable option for you? Or do you encounter spoilers at work that make watching a recording impractical?

I like when al michaels sneaks his betting comments in.

He said something about alot of people being very happy when someone scored & the score went "over" since that was the heavy $$ play.

I think the league should have dropped the tax exempt status years ago. As a Bills fan, what do you think the plan is? Are they giving up on him already? We all know Orton's not a solution, he's a band-aide. So...where do they go from here?

Bit early to give up on him, kinda sends the message that the Bills may already be giving up on the season.

Seems weird to me that they would bench him this quickly... It's his second year. Geez.

Don't get me wrong... I thought he was a horrible draft pick, and I never expected him to do much. I said the same for Locker when we took him. But IMO if you draft a guy that high and invest that much in him, you should give him more time and chances.

I don't think they are giving up on him yet. He just hopefully needs more time to develop. If he played better yesterday, we would be 3-1 right now. He was incredibly inaccurate against the Texans. I hope EJ can learn from this, and continue working hard. We still believe in him, it's just not his time yet.

Quite the opposite. Orton gives us a better chance to win games. We all like EJ, he's a good guy that is easy to root for. But he hasn't been performing. This is a win now league, and for our current coaching staff and management it is imperative they impress the new owner. And how do you do that? Beat the Lions on Sunday.

And the biggest issue I have with it... You're benching him for Orton. Orton has no upside. We know who he is. He can be decent at times and horrible at others.

It's not like your benching him for a young up and coming rookie.

Locker, on the other hand, should stay on the bench. He's had all the time in the world to get it right and he hasn't.
