I hate to say it but I think it's time for Belichick to retire. The Patriots were so successful because they had multiple people with a say in personnel, with Scott Pioli working alongside Belichick to put together the roster. Since Pioli left it's been all Belichick and the team has been pretty poor at drafting and free agency. Julian Edelman is the only player they've ever developed into a capable receiver despite using several picks on receivers. They've stayed competitive largely because of Brady but he can't do everything.

The Logan Mankins trade killed any shot at a successful season. When they made the trade I figured they had a guard to take his spot but that's clearly not the case so the Patriots now have a pitiful offensive line and Tim Wright, the player they acquired in the Mankins deal (in addition to a 4th round pick) has been a complete non-factor. The Pats still have a good chance at making the playoffs because of their division, but unless the team completely turns it around they'll be one and done.

I think it will be competitive, but I could see the division winner being 9-7 and the other teams all in the 7-9/8-8 range. Playing the AFC West and NFC North will lead to a lot of out of division losses.

Total crap that I was in a position to lose. I had 138 points in a standard scoring league, but I faced Rivers, A Brown, Charles, and Dolphins D. Those four combined for like 100 points.

I guess I can't complain, as just las week I only had a 3pt lead heading into Monday, with nobody left and facing B.Marshall. LOL! I know that guy was pissed with those results. So I was due for some Universe Karma Payback.

What are you babbling about? Things are looking very positive for my team. I really like our chances to win the division now that we made the QB switch. Lots of talent on our offense, and a hell of good defense. All Orton has to do is manage the game.

EJ Manuel was the 32nd worst ranked starting QB in the league, you guys are trotting out number 33 here don't you get it. You have no idea what you are talking about, man. Orton started last season for Dallas. Orton is a sure upgrade for us at quarterback. He is going to surprise you on Sunday at how efficient he will be in our offense. And honestly you insult me with the drug references. I don't use drugs. Please don't do that again. I wouldn't say it is over. But he clearly needs more time to develop. The body language of the offense was pretty telling in the 2nd half on Sunday. They didn't believe in him anymore. A change had to be made, thank the good Lord we signed Orton at the end of preseason.

Not a good idea to draft projects in the 1st round, especially ones that you force to start right away. Manuel's problems appear to be accuracy and pocket presence, I don't think you can coach those away.

His presnap adjustments need some work as well. EJ was dealt a bad hand, it was never intended for him to start right away.

Perhaps, but it isn't like the guy hasn't had time to put the work in. He got to play many games last season, had the entire off season, and 4 games this season.

To be honest, I was expecting a lot more from him this year, obviously, it seems like the Bills were, too.
