Two of the happiest guys in the NFL right now.

The one problem I would have with Orton is he has trouble getting along with teammates, probably the main reason he went from these teams -
Bears
Broncos
Chiefs
Cowboys
to the Bills so quickly. Word out of Dallas is he just wanted to stand on the sideline in Dallas and collect a paycheck but when it became obvious he might have to start at some point this season he opted to "retire". Probably wasn't expecting Manuel to stink it up quite this badly so early.

A dream game for New York Giants tight end Larry Donnell in Week 4 quickly turned into a nightmare scenario for at least one fantasy football owner last week: Donnell himself.

Giants tight end Larry Donnell said he handed his opponent a victory last week by benching himself in his fantasy lineup.

Donnell told The Record that he benched himself in favor of San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis in his fantasy lineup -- and lost as a result.

Davis, who was sidelined by back spasms most of the second half, had two catches for eight yards Sunday. Donnell? A career-best seven catches for 54 yards and three -- count 'em, three -- touchdowns in the Giants' 45-14 win over the Washington Redskins on Thursday.

"Would've won if I played me," Donnell told The Record after practice Wednesday. "During the game, I'm like, 'Really?' That's the honest truth."

Donnell's team, which also features quarterback Drew Brees, running back Frank Gore and wide receivers Anquan Boldin and Mike Wallace, lost by 15 points.

On the plus side, Donnell said his performance last week was enough to earn himself a promotion.

"Oh yeah," he said of his starting lineup this week. "I'm in there."

He seems really motivated to be our starting quarterback. From what I've read from the Bills beat reporters, Orton knew EJ would have a short leash.

Oh great, here come those Soprano jokes again, I got tired of them when they started in 2007 after we went 13-3 and had 13 Pro Bowlers with Payton, Garrett and Sparano running the offense.

DirecTV and the NFL agreed to a new eight-year deal, at a total cost of $12 billion. Yes, $1.5 billion per season to the NFL. That's according to Darren Rovell of ESPN.

Draft is apr 30-may 2 2015 so stays 3 days (4 just didnt make any sense) & will be in either LA or CHI.
