Which meaning, basically, nothing in today's NFL.
All contracts, no matter how long, are just a series of 1yr deals. As they can end at any time, for any reason.

Salary cap is climbing.... but yes, it's a dream. But they could get one of the other 2....

CJ deserves it after he b*tched about our OL.

It's nothing against the Jets, but at this point all I care about this season is shutting his ass down. We can't let him come home and have a big game.

So, in the end, who wins more games? Tiana or Jets? Before the season I had us pegged as a 7-9 or 8-8 team (I think I had the Jets at 5-11). Now I think we are 5-11 at best. But I'm expecting 3-13.

He deserves it just for being dumb enough brag about being the culprit on his Twitter account. It's unlikely he'd ever have been caught if he just kept his mouth shut, but teens today think they have to post everything on their social media accounts.

Funny how just 10-15 years ago people didn't even want to give out any information, to include census studies. Now, they offer up their daily lives for the whole world to see & study. The federal government must be loving this!

Court records show while giving his urine sample Wednesday, Adrian Peterson admitted to a staffer he had 'smoked a little weed' before the test. As a result of that, the Montgomery County District Attorney has asked the judge in this case to set aside Peterson's $15,000 bond and have him arrested again.

However, there won't likely be any action on Thursday because the current judge presiding over Peterson's case is facing a recusal hearing scheduled to take place on Friday morning.

Peterson's attorney Rusty Hardin has not been available for comment.

The wild west days of partying all night are long gone. The game is not only physically demanding, but intellectually demanding as well. We have seen it, over the years, that mad skills will only get you so far. You have to prove that you can make good decisions both on, and off, the field, in order to excel in today's social media/instant news sports world.
These guys have to learn that to play at the highest level, they have to put their "party at a da club @2am" life on hold until after they call it a career. It's just not going to work.

And banned substances!! Give me a break, it's way too easy to get busted these days. Again it all comes down to good decision making.
The league has proven that they don't care how great a player you are, the league will move on without you in a heartbeat is the smell test starts going bad. As there are hundreds of candidates just waiting to take your spot...gladly, take your spot!

The NFL will police the bad apples out of the league. We don't want them or need them in this league. There's a dozen other guys willing to take the spotlight if Peterson can't manage his bad habits.

Peterson seems like those guys in movies that are a little dim witted and can do tremendous physical feats.
