We blew a golden opportunity today to get a leg up on the #1 pick in the draft.

Did anyone see the Jags almost comeback from a 16-7 deficit with under 2 minutes left and no timeouts? Lol we are a joke.

Scobee attempted a 55 yarder and we blocked it. Idk why the Jags didn't try for one more quick pass to the sidelines. It was 3rd down with 12 seconds left

Just this in... Aaron Rodgers is good!

There better be a DAMN good reason the Dolphins called a timeout when GB has a 4th & 10. There was only 5 or so clicks left on the clock.... What happens after the TO? A GB first down, and they would eventually score the go ahead TD.

I'm getting sick of sluggish 1st halves. Miami had 3 points in the first half. Then came out and scored 3 TDs on their next three possessions, all 80 year drives. Then when they need a sustained drive the most they go 3 and out to I've the Pack the ball back.

The Pats are 4-2 and in the driver's seat once again in the AFC east. Miami is 2-3 but own the tie breaker over the Pats. But if they keep giving games away it won't be much of a race.

I'm not that worried about Buffalo, even though they have a great defense their offense is medicore at best. (Except when we play them!) and the Jest just suck. So I think it will come down to the Pats and Fins. The Pats have a lead at this point but I think they aren't the team they used to be and are vulnerable. But Miami needs to cut down on the stupid mistakes and play 60 minutes more consistently if they hope to win the division.

Saying that SF didn't force the turnovers and only Dallas was not playing well, is a fallacy. Dallas didn't play well because SF outplayed them.
There is no such thing as a turnover 100% on the team who gets the ball. Whether it's a drop, a bad hold, or a misread, the other team has some fault in the turnover. This is NOT a fallacy, it is the truth.

Two of the turnovers in Dallas/San Fran were more on Dallas than San Francisco. One was a dropped kick, and one the San Fran player himself called the easiest interception in his entire career, including pre-NFL, because Romo threw it right to him.

Frankly SF didn't outplay Dallas. Dallas gave them 14 points on completely unforced turnovers, then 7 on another bad turnover(although this one San Francisco clearly forced, but Murray didn't have it properly held either), and outscored them 17-7 for the rest of the game.

Several analysts went so far as to say San Francisco looked downright bad in the game, but were gifted the win.

You spin it however you like. Bottom line: one team caused the other team to play poorly. It takes two to tango...always has, always will.
According to your logic Dallas would've made all those bad plays even if SF wasn't on the field. C'mon man!

Good win/Bad win/Ugly win...does not matter. "W" is "W", at the end of the day.

The "Damn Browns" are better. Since falling behind during week 1 in Sh*ttsburgh (27-3), we've outscored the Squeelers 55-13.

HOYER.

I'm curious what will happen if the Browns make or at least come close to making the playoffs. Hoyer is a free agent after this season so would the Browns give him a long-term deal that would likely be in the eight-figure per year range or would they decide to move on with Manziel? The Browns next three games are at Jacksonville followed by home games with Oakland and Tampa so there's a good chance the Browns are 6-2 going into their game at Cincy, and with their last place schedule it's not out of the question they could end up with nine or ten wins.

Good question. If they extend Hoyer, perhaps they could try to move Manziel to Dallas? We all know Jerruh is in love with the guy, and I'd love for Manziel to just fly off the tracks and implode the Cowboys.

Manziel is locked up for five years with a cheap, rookie contract. He can sit for a few years behind Hoyer, like Rivers and Rodgers did in SD and GB.

Veryy good chance we'll finish 9-7 and a shot at a wildcard. Hoyer MUST resign. If you'll recall, I posted months ago how angry I was when they drafted Manziel and how Hoyer needed to be the starter. He was Great last year in his 2 starts (2 wins...at Minn., home to Balt.), putting us at 2-2. He then got hurt at home on a Thurs. night game against Buffalo and we finished 4-12 (again).

He's a local kid who grew up a Browns fan (same as "Berrnie ", did), and I'm really hoping he has a Great year. I'd use Manziel as trade bait come draft time if Hoyer has a good year. When I say good, I mean 7-9 or better. I'm also hoping Josh Gordon can fit back into the mix.

After being a healthy inactive yesterday the agent for receiver Mike Williams has received permission to shop the receiver for a trade. There's virtually no chance of any team even considering trading for Williams, even if it's for virtually nothing, because Williams has a guaranteed base salary of $5.2 million next season.

This isn't a surprise. He has been passed on the depth chart by Chris Hogan, and since he doesn't play Special Teams, he is mainly just depth for us at this point.

well at least there's hope. Derek Carr seems like he's going to be pretty damn good.
Other than that I guess it's back to reading mock drafts

Yea that timeout was questionable. I was also re-watching that fake spike play again, the Dolphins defender should have taken away the sideline and forced the Packers WR into the field. If he was tackled in bounds the game was over.

The Niners are getting goofed by the Rams. It's awesome. Anything to make Harbaugh squirrelier(?) than he already is.
