I keep hearing it stated that Chip Kelly's fitness regiment has the Eagles in so much better shape than their opposition that they are less winded at the end of games, able to go quicker, etc.

What exactly is this saying? That athletes from other teams who are trying to be in as good of shape as humanly possible are too lazy to get to a Kelly-team level? That they have some top secret fitness program that is better than every other fitness program in the world? That Kelly has somehow managed to eliminate any and all players from the Eagles who are even slightly lazy?

All I can think is either it's a smokescreen, or give it a year or two and every team will be using his super-fitness and long-term he'll have no advantage.

I've never bought that. It's the NFL. If you aren't in your top fitness, it would be very obvious among your teammates. What makes the Eagles offense so hard to stop if that they run plays so quickly that defenses make a lot of mental mistakes because it cuts down on their time to get aligned properly. The Eagles fast paced offense is much more mental than physical.

Cowboys are obviously pretenders, over-rated offensive line, QB that still can't handle blitzes and a defense that can't get out of their own way. If they finish 8-8, Garrett and Marinelli better be shown the door, time for some new blood to come in and get this team trending in the right direction, unfortunately I still see nothing to indicate Jerry would be willing to do what the Iggles front office did.

I still think the Cowboys get a wildcard. They laid an egg yesterday, but they can still finish the season strong.

When does Dallas ever finish a season strong? I'm just not seeing them winning more than 1 or 2 of the last 4 games, leaving them at 9-7 or 10-6. A 10-6 record probably gets them in but I'm not sure 9-7 would.

Two disappointing games, it's like Cowboys and Niners didn't know their season was on the line.

I think they finish 10-6 which SHOULD be enough for a wildcard.

He was a top 10 running back in 2011. Last year he averaged 3.1 yards per attempt, which was 45th best (out of 48 qualifiers) in the league. He's not worth the PR hit at this point in his career. Maybe he'll get a chance next season but I'd be shocked if any owner was willing to take him on right now and deal with the circus that will surround him.
