2025-2026 NFL Season Thread

Any advice on this:

My only real line up question is between Kenny Stills and Julius Thomas.(in this league WR/TE are the same, no dedicated TE position, PPR league).

I'm leaning towards Stills for 3 reasons:
1) Guy I'm playing has Brees
2) It would be my last guy playing(Monday)
3) Thomas is coming off 3 injured weeks

The case for Thomas:
1) I have Manning
2) His real first game back could be a boost for Manning
3) He's a beast


Is this a coin flip?

I'd go with Stills, Thomas strikes me as a TD-dependent TE. Stills is the #1 WR in what should be a shoot-out between two teams with horrific defenses.

It's been the same for years, and there have been a lot of cases with a team with a better record visiting a division winner with a worse record, and there have been a lot of cases of a team missing the playoffs with a better record than a division winner.

That's exactly what I think. The only other x-factor, is Chicago going to have inclimate weather? Upper 40's, light rain. I don't think that should be too much of a factor. Wheras Thomas will be in sunny San Diego.
I think in the end, having Still to answer for some of the Bress points is always a good thing. Just hope Mr. Still takes it easy during pregame warmups!

Top 3 division winners play home games, but the rest are sorted by record. Not sure what the tiebreakers would be. So for this year, the NFC South champion would be the 6 seed instead of the 4.

I could see changing the seeding rules, but I am fiercely against expanding to 14 teams.
