As I thought, since our strength of schedule is getting so much worse over the last two weeks (Jets and Jags), and the Bucs' is getting stronger with the Packers and Bucs we'd hold the tiebreaker. But as of right now it goes to the Bucs.

As I thought, since our strength of schedule is getting so much worse over the last two weeks (Jets and Jags), and the Bucs' is getting stronger with the Packers and Bucs we'd hold the tiebreaker. But as of right now it goes to the Bucs.

Don't know how they can predict it. The Titans face the Jags (2-12) and the Colts (10-4) while the Bucs face the Packers (10-4) and Saints (6-8). That's a 4 game difference between remaining schedules, and I believe the Bucs are 4 games up. Plus, the variability of the other teams remaining games can skew the numbers one way or the other. Definitely not as cut and dry as you are saying it is.

Right, but we have an advantage in that we'll have played the Jags (twice), Jets, Giants, and Redskins... these are teams that will mostly continue to lose and weaken our strength of schedule. I am sure the Bucs strength of schedule can worsen as well, but not as much as ours.

What I am not sure about is if SoS only counts games played up until now or if it is accounting for the remaining games as well.

So are the Bucs at .482 without counting the Packers or Saints? If so, after adding the Packers and Saints in, the Bucs are at .493. And after the Titans add in the Jags and Colts, we are at .483.

All I know is we damn well better lose on Thursday. Also we need the Colts to lose so that our week 17 game against them won't be meaningless to the point they'd rest their starters (even though we'd still probably lose).

Is it just me, but it seems there's less advertisement for Thursday's game between the Titans and Jags.

We could of beaten Baltimore if we just scored a single TD. Our defense has been playing, but no one sees that because our offense can't substain a decent drive which puts our defense out on the field too long giving up huge plays.

While the teams at the top of the standings entertain us with their playoff struggles, the teams struggling at the bottom are involved in their own pillow fight.

The race for the top pick in the 2015 NFL Draft is coming down to the wire, with a key game Thursday night.

There are four teams tied at 2-12, but at the moment, the top pick would belong to the Buccaneers based on their having the lowest strength of schedule.

The second and third spots are occupied by the Titans and Jaguars, respectively, though they’ll have a chance to break that tie against each other Thursday night (or maybe not, as the case may be).

The Raiders currently hold the fourth spot, with the highest strength of schedule number among the dregs of the league.

Washington (3-11) owns the fifth spot, followed by the Jets (3-11), Falcons (5-9), Giants (5-9), Bears (5-9) and Panthers (5-8-1).

Most mock drafts I'm seeing have Tampa taking Mariota at #1 and Tennessee taking Winston at #2. You better hope something happens to shake that up. Winston is going to be a mess in the NFL.

Personally I'd like to see Jacksonville end up with Leonard Williams of USC. Guy is a beast.

Anything is possible! Trust me, much like my FF squad, this Philly team is being held together by duct tape! Chip Kelly has done an amazing job covering their flaws, but even he can't hide our secondary which is beyond horrible. Between that and all the key injuries to: entire O-line/QB/LB, it's just unbelievable they are still in playoff/division title contention.

I want Cooper but I expect Oakland to take him. Of course I'd rather have Mariota than anyone else, but that is not happening.

I think Tennessee could be a good landing spot for Jameis. It doesn't have as many distractions as a place like New York and the press isn't as bad. Whoever drafts Jameis needs to hire a former QB like Warren Moon or Mark Brunnell and have their only job be mentoring Jameis and teaching him what needs to be done to succeed in the NFL. Jameis has the physical skills to be a star, but he still needs help with his decision making both on and off the field.
