What do you think?
Rough time to be a Titans fan right now...

I want neither QB... I don't see how either of them are worthy of going top 2. Unless Mariota ends up with the Eagles or an offensive guru that can run that style of offense, I don't see him being much in the NFL.

I watched the game very closely yesterday, and if I absolutely had to take a QB in the top 2, I would take Winston over Mariota, even with all the immaturity/off-field concerns. He's the more NFL ready QB. And other than his hilarious fumble, Winston had a pretty good game... Mariota's stat lines don't tell the whole story. He missed on what should be very routine throws, and also made a horrible decision throwing the ball across his body into traffic. It should've been picked off (and would have been picked in the NFL). Most of Mariota's completions were to wide open receivers. I'm glad he can hit wide open guys, but he seemed to miss every time he threw into tighter windows. I'm not convinced he's going to be able to do well in the NFL (unless he magically ends up in Philly). I see Mariota as a Locker/Kaep combo, and I don't think that's a good thing. He makes his best throws while on the run and struggles with accuracy from inside the pocket. That usually doesn't work in the NFL... and I certainly wouldn't risk a top 2 pick on a guy like that.

I don't expect much from either Mariota or Winston in the NFL, but I'd definitely say Winston is the better NFL prospect.

I would still like to trade down, but as I've said all along I really don't think Winston is as high on team's boards as the mock draft "experts" seem to think. In a perfect world we'd be able to trade back and acquire a couple of 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder, but I don't see anyone being this stupid.

If we have to pick at #2, I want Leonard Williams. If we are able to trade back somewhere in the 5-10 range, I want Cooper, Ray, or Beasley if available.

Mettenberger played pretty damn well on the worst team of any of the rookie QBs, and did better than pretty much any rookie could've done in a horribe situation. He deserves another shot.

But I do hope our FO is smart enough not to publicly commit to Mett and keep teams convinced that we will take a QB with our pick.

So Suh wants to prove to the world that he's not a "dirty player"...all he has to do is not make dirty plays!

No doubt Suh is an All-World player, at his position. I don't think that's even open for debate. But the guy, clearly, falls into the category of someone that doesn't get that they don't get it.

Well, I have my popcorn, and I can't wait to watch this game! I feel like I'll win no matter what the outcome, as one of these teams has to lose!

Damn bro, you just F-inn nail it, this is the most honest, and best way I seen someone break it down. Damn TitanFan you might have a future at being a GM some day.

Is Josh McDaniels ready to an NFL head coach again, or is he just keeping his name active?

I watched A Football Life last night (the one about the Rose Bowl)... I felt like the whole thing was about the Titans... VY, Griffin, LenDale, Fisher, Floyd Reese, Norm Chow (ugh I HATED him lol), and Whisenhunt all talking. Brought back a lot of memories... I gladly admit I wanted us to draft VY (but I wanted Rodgers the year before, so...). I had the same attitude that season too. Just lose, baby.

Sure would be nice to be able to call the shots on draft day! Aside from that aspect, I'd be pretty clueless as a GM, of course. But thanks for the vote of confidence!

It has been really frustrating over the years making great picks from my couch only to watch us go with a pick that I hate... My picks end up being great and our picks end up sucking. It's become the routine.

But I think this actually has a lot to do with player development. We suck at developing players. It's a shame. There are players on our roster that just rot away and never get a fair shot.

Well IF Philly were going to go after Mariota, they just took a big step in that direction yesterday when Chip Kelly was, basically, handed the keys to the kingdom! VP Tom Gamble was fired 3 days ago, and GM Howie(not a "football guy") Roseman was "promoted" to VP of contract proofreading.
Chip Kelly now has complete control over all player personnel decisions, going forward.
Just call them the Philadelphia Ducks.
In Chip we trust, so I guess you might as well trust him all the way. I want to be excited about this, but I guess we'll see in a few months when trades/draft picks are made.
