It was something the refs wanted and had put in their collective bargaining agreement. The refs CBA expires after next season so the league could try and change it then, but there's nothing they can do before then unless the refs agree to a change.

only thing the offense needs do is pass block as well as they run block

still too many questions on the defense, maybe offseason will answer some of those

Well part of it is they need to get Romo to throw it away more and also take more chances, I know he's afraid of picks but when you have Witten, Williams and Dez, you can throw it up and let them go get it 3-4 times a game.

Were Romo's INTs down this year? I don't follow Dallas much but it seems like they did better this year because they took the ball out of Romo's hand

Romo had 34 TDs and 9 INTs, partly because he usually threw less than 20 times per game and partly because he absorbed a lot of sacks rather than throwing the ball away.

Jets officially hire Mike Maccagnan as GM.

I think it's a decent hire. He's got a background in scouting, and he was able to help draft a decent amount of talent in Houston. Now who will be the Head Coach? Quinn or Bowles seems the likely candidates.

Quinn if he brings Kyle Shanahan as his OC. Bowles says he wants Gailey as his OC (what I've heard) and I don't want him as OC.

Projected point spreads for Super Bowl matchups. The way Vegas sees it Seattle is favored slightly over the Pats in the most likely matchup. Even money if it's Packers-Pats. Colts an underdog against either NFC opponent.
