Definitely won't be seeing the best quarterbacks on display in this year's Pro Bowl. I assume Aaron Rodgers won't play due to his calf injury, Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger are out with injuries, and Tom Brady is out due to the Super Bowl. Drew Brees was the first alternate and took Roethlisberger's spot but second alternate Phillip Rivers declined and third alternate Russell Wilson is obviously not available. Matt Stafford was the next alternate and took Manning's spot, but that still leaves 2 more spots to be filled.

Not sure if this was mentioned but thursday night football is staying the same in 2015.

8 games cbs/nfln & 8 games nfln.

No surprise there win for cbs & nfln -- nfln needs to keep some games some for themselves for provider contract purposes.

I definitely don't feel comfortable enough putting anything on either of these teams with the spread essentially being even. The only bet I'd consider is taking the under on 47.5 points scored. New England has a history of playing scoring than expected Super Bowls and I think Seattle's D will keep this one under that.

In my career(the one my wife doesn't know about ), I had a much better winning percentage with over/under vs. point spreads. I'm sure you can relate, but all it takes it one dumb bouce and you're screwed. Of course that bounce can go the other way, but odds are it won't.
And lets face it, even if you're winning ~55% clip, which is pretty good, I just feel you have more opportunity with the over/under.

Then if I'm really bold I'll start doing NHL money lines!

Winning record pretty much every year...playoffs every year ect. Bunch of AFC Champ wins...so while they haven't won the big one...they do win. People who still use the spygate line...their IQ is a bit low.

That pretty much sums it up, at least with all the football fans I know here in Southern California. Nobody I know out here really ever talked about Seattle, but once Pete Carroll showed up the talk started, and of course it was about the finger pointing after he exited USC. It got worse after the Fail Mary. Otherwise, over the years prior to his arrival in Seattle, I can't recall a single conversation - good or bad - with anyone out here that involved the Seahawks. Personally, I think he's just a smug pr!ck, nothing to do with SC. I wouldn't normally say something like that about someone I don't know, but this guy just takes the cake. Add to that the sudden influx of bandwagoners sporting Seahawks gear after their SB win when prior to that SCal was void of them. Every bumper sticker and piece of clothing I see people wearing with the Seahawks logo still looks new, with no wear at all. Bandwagoners are to be expected, of course, but my point being is serious fans generally don't like that and won't generate love for a team.

Plus, while I actually have respect for the players - including Richard Sherman - this doesn't help their image with anyone I know out here - especially considering Seattle hardly did anything that resembled a winning team for 95% of the game.
