Yeah the nfl has that rule not just me. 4 games for peds the Vikings cheat by putting there balls in front of heaters to make them easier to throw and catch no fines no suspensions just a call saying don't do that. Am I seriously the first person to tell you there are different levels of cheating. Temple of doom said you cheat big I cheat small I mean come on. There is a difference.

the point some of us are trying to make is cheating is cheating.....don't blow it off as if it's not a big deal.

esp. considering the fact that this isn't the 1st time the Patriots have been at the center of a situation like this.

Sorry to change the subject, but I haven't heard much about Lynch this week. First, he grabbed Lil' Marsh when he scored...again, then he blew off the media...again. I assume they'll fine him...again, but how much? And if they're tired of him being a d!ck, is it possible they suspend him 1 game? (you know, the 1 game that really matters)

Yeah, not much to talk about. Peyton's probably not retiring, Geno probably won't be the starter next year, Trent Richardson hasn't been cut yet. <yawn>

Grabbing his junk was pretty off putting, but as for the media, he clearly has some kind of anxiety.

Yeah, Marshawn definitely has an anxiety disorder. Hopefully someday he'll be able to talk about it, but the NFL doesn't really care. He's a commodity and they want him to talk.

If the patriots deflated balls to gain a competitive edge then they are cheating, and I hope the NFL comes down hard on them. If true, this would be the second time they have been caught 'cheating', what else have they done and got away with?

It really doesn't matter if deflating the balls gave them an edge. If they did so knowing trying to get a competitive advantage than they deserve a heft punishment.

If in fact it's proven the Pats knowingly did this, the most that will and should Happen is a hefty fine and loss of a FIRST round draft pick, that will make teams think twice about cheating

The only thing that makes sense as to why the refs don't seem to care is that a lot of teams do it.

Would never happen, but it would be awesome to see.

I'm not buying the social anxiety angle though, as he has given proper interviews in the past.

And even if he has social anxiety, it doesn't excuse his dickishness in dealing with it.

I wonder what level of fine would make him flinch. Maybe it will come down to a suspension, because at this point he's making a mockery of the league.
