problem is rex isn't a HC...he is a DC. We all know this. I have no idea why he went to basically the same situation. Bills are better then the jets by a good amount..but still no QB which in this league is a huge problem.

The Bills D was going to be good with or without him. You need a coach that can help get that O going and as we know from past...rex isn't the answer in that department

Rams promoted QBs coach Frank Cignetti to offensive coordinator.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport first reported the expected promotion on Thursday morning, and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch has now confirmed it. It's arguably the least-inspiring hire in an offseason full of them. Going on 50, Cignetti has never coordinated an NFL offense, and spent 2008-11 overseeing middling college units at Cal, Pitt and Rutgers. It's an admission of defeat for the Rams, who struck out on a host of bigger-name candidates. With questions swirling around not only the Rams' personnel, but future in St. Louis, it's not an attractive job. "Continuity" could be construed as a positive, but not when you consider how much the Rams' offense has struggled in recent years.

Speaking Tuesday, Falcons owner Arthur Blank appeared to admit the team pumped artificial noise into its 2013-14 home games.

''It's not really a fine line,'' Blank said. ''I think what we've done in 2013 and 2014 was wrong. Anything that affects the competitive balance and fairness on the field, we're opposed to." Blank must know the league has irrefutable evidence, and is trying to get out in front of the apology game. The Falcons are subject to both a hefty fine and loss of draft picks. Blank's contriteness could level down the punishment, however.

The Browns could be fined and docked a draft pick, while GM Ray Farmer is facing a multi-game suspension as a result of "TextGate."

The Browns are having one heck of a start to the offseason. Johnny Manziel is in rehab, Josh Gordon has been banned for one year, and now the team is staring at stiff penalties because a front-office member -- suspected to be Farmer -- was texting coaches on the sidelines during games this past season. The NFL is expected to wrap up its investigation into the matter either this week or next.

So it's not Pete, but Russell Wilson and he CHOKED and threw the ball poorly, on a play that no one would have called in that particular specific situation.

Well, if he absolutely had to run that play, he obviously should've thrown it low. I knew that as soon as Butler picked it off.

But really he should've audibled to either a Lynch run, read option, or PA bootleg.

In a cover 0, there's a really good chance Wilson would've been able to get in the endzone himself. If not, throw it away.

The MCM is the only tough loss I remember you guys having here... what else am I missing? I'm usually pretty good about recalling every home (and away) game.

I remember a very tight game and last minute victory VY's rookie year, but that was in Buffalo.

A couple years ago when Fitzpatrick threw a pick down in the endzone late in the fourth quarter. Perhaps I am mistaken, and that game was in Buffalo.

I think Rex Ryan is a pretty darn good head coach, and so do a lot of other people. He is in a much better situation in Buffalo versus New York. He has management and owners that are going to do a much better job getting him talent for his roster, and he will be given more control.

There's still hope for EJ. He will be given every opportunity to win the job. Having said that, he really needs to step his game up. He's been very disappointing to this point.

Not many people think he is a pretty good coach at all...not sure where you heard that.

Unfortunately you will see after a few years just like Jets fans did. But they deserved it

Time will tell, but I think the future will show this to be a very strong hire by the Pegulas.

I refbox'd Draft Day a couple months back. It was... Well, I was very critical of it. Very unrealistic aspects of the draft experience.

Yea the last two times we played you guys the game was in Buffalo.

09 was the last time I remember the Bills playing here... and that game wasn't close.

That 'someone' being a charged rapist testifying in the Darren Sharper rape case. It seems like some bulls*** to me.

According to the Advocate, Licciardi mentioned Bush during an interview with investigators last year.

"Cause I saw it with my own eyes," Licciardi responded.

("Molly" is another name for MDMA, an illegal party drug.)

Later in the interview, Licciardi backpedaled when asked again about the Las Vegas party.

"Reggie, yeah. No, I didn't see him put it in the drink. He told me. And he said he was handing it to people, in Vegas," Licciardi said, adding, "He asked me if I wanted some. And I was like, I don't do that stuff."

Wow, you don't ever stop...

Of course people think he is a good coach. I'm sure the vast majority of people do. Is he a good, or even great Head Coach? Maybe, I don't think so, maybe if he had a great offense and could delegate it so he could concentrate on the defense then that might work.

Look at what he did with not great personal with the Jets last year, and look at the talent on Defense in Buffalo... if that doesn't concern you then you are even bigger ******* than you appear to be. #SMH

For the second time in his very troubled career, Richie Incognito will make the Buffalo Bills the first pit stop on his road back from the bottom.

ESPN's James Walker reports that Incognito is in Orchard Park for a physical, and Tim Graham of The Buffalo News reports that said physical is merely a formality, and that the Bills and Rex Ryan have every intention of adding Incognito to the roster.

Incognito, who will turn 32 in July, has not appeared in a NFL game since November of 2013, when the league promptly suspended him as he emerged at the center of a bullying scandal with the Miami Dolphins that included fellow offensive lineman Jonathan Martin. Incognito was ultimately issued a three-month ban for his involvement in that, a ban which expired in early February of 2014.


Now he will apparently return to Buffalo, who gave him a shot late in the 2009 season after his antics forced the St. Louis Rams - the team that drafted him in 2005 - to cut him. His short stint with Buffalo then landed him a starting gig, and parlayed that into a free agent deal and a starting gig with the Dolphins, where he played from 2010-13.

Buffalo is in desperate need of help at guard, and in the full season prior to Incognito's latest bout of trouble, he was a Pro Bowl player. The 6'3", 319-pound veteran has the physical skills and the on-field demeanor to fit snugly into the run-first, physical, power running offense that Ryan and offensive coordinator Greg Roman envision for the team. Whether or not he'll be a starter in Buffalo depends on what else the team does to fortify the position this offseason, but there's no doubt that if the season started tomorrow, he'd be in the lineup. The moment he signs his deal, he is the Bills' best offensive guard.

A nice low risk/high reward signing, but I'm not sure how much football Incognito has in him. He's getting old and has been out of the sport for quite some time now. Certainly worth a shot though. If he doesn't work out, he will be easy to cut.
