Some people are connecting the Chiefs with him at #18.

Apparently the Patriots employee may have been given the unapproved ball by a league employee who has since been fired:

Quote:
"League Official 1, he's also supposed to take the balls out of play and then send them off to a charitable endeavor to raise money for a charitable endeavor that the league is embarking upon," Schefter said. "Only on this day, and since that day, the league has since fired that employee for allegedly selling off some of those footballs on the side. So that employee -- League Official 1 --has been fired since the AFC Championship Game."

The employee who was fired by the NFL probably would've kept his job if he hadn't aroused the suspicion of a fellow co-worker.

"Employee 2 noticed that one of the balls was missing from League Official 1, so he went to get a different one. When League Official 2 came in, he tried to replace the [missing] football," Schefter said. "League official 1 noticed that the ball was missing, noticed that people knew [he took a ball], he brought the ball back into the game, so there were then two different league officials handing balls to Jim McNally for use in the game. It sounds like a very unique, murky situation."

If McNally's name sounds familiar, that's because his name was tied to a Deflategate report on Tuesday. McNally, a Patriots locker room attendant, allegedly tried to give an unapproved football to an official during the game. However, according to Schefter, McNally may have had an unapproved football because he was given balls from two different people.

"All of this information has been captured on videotape that has been turned over to the NFL that will be documented in the Wells report," Schefter said. "Essentially, Jim McNally was given the footballs by the league officials assigned to work the game that day."

Cardinals signed WR Larry Fitzgerald to a new two-year, $22 million contract through 2016.
Quote:
Fitzgerald was originally set to count a whopping $23.6 million against the 2015 cap. The new deal clears about $13 million. In exchange, Fitzgerald is guaranteed $11 million per year over the next two seasons and locked in with Arizona through his age-33 campaign. Prior to the new contract, the Cardinals were projected about $12 million over the cap. They now need to figure out what to do with LE Darnell Dockett's $9.8 million cap hit.

An NFL employee was fired for selling balls intended for charity, not for Deflateghazi.

Pretty much explains how I feel about the kid.
Idk about him being that great... but man oh man do I hope he somehow falls to us at #33 and we take him.

They have two seasons to make it happen for him. Had Palmer not gone down, they would've had a good shot at going all the way.

I don't think they'll win one here soon, but I wouldn't count them completely out.

I don't know what to think of Hundley. There are things about him that translate well to the NFL, and then there are some things that an athlete of his ability should do a lot better.

They are going to have to get a running game and hope Palmer comes back strong and stays healthy and Palmer has never done it in the playoffs either so it's not a guarantee if he does stay healthy he leads them anywhere.

Hundley won't be any good. I highly doubt it. Might be worth a shot in the 3rd if he were to fall that far. My guess is he'll be like Locker.

I agree... and I bet they end up with either Gordon or Gurley... And if not one of those guys, they'll get one of the round 2-3 RBs. Pair up one of the top RBs in the draft with Ellington and it may work out well.

They also need a TE, and the OL still needs help (seems like it's always been bad).

But that team managed to be 10-1 at one point even with Stanton starting a few games. It was pretty impressive what they were able to do, all things considered. And I think they can contend the next couple seasoms if they do well in free agency/draft.

The Logan Thomas pick last year really had me scratching my head... as did the Buchannon pick. They'll have to do better this time around.

If I am going to draft a QB to develop this year, it would be Bridge. He is no where near NFL ready, but he has a lot of untapped potential.

Chargers, Raiders propose shared NFL stadium in Carson

Quote:
The San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders, rivals on the field, are moving forward together on a plan to build a $1.7-billion NFL stadium in Carson that they will share.

The Chargers and Raiders will continue to seek public subsidies for new stadiums in their home markets, but they are developing a detailed proposal for a privately financed Los Angeles venue in the event they can't get deals done in San Diego and Oakland by the end of this year, according to the teams.

In a statement given to The Times on Thursday, the Chargers and Raiders said: “We are pursuing this stadium option in Carson for one straightforward reason: If we cannot find a permanent solution in our home markets, we have no alternative but to preserve other options to guarantee the future economic viability of our franchises.”

That would be funny if Los Angeles ended up with three NFL teams.

I've seen some of his highlights... And I saw some impressive things. His stats may not look so good, but I saw his WRs dropping passes left and right, so there's that.

What round is he projected to go in? I haven't really heard much about him, but once he throws at the combine, I'm sure there will be some buzz.

Right now 3rd day, but he's the type player who should work out pretty well. The problem is that he is so raw. There is a lot of talent there, but he needs time to hone his craft. A true project. I can't see him going before AT LEAST the 5th.

No way both these stadiums happen, the owners would never approve three teams in LA. It seems like St. Louis is stepping up and putting together a solid stadium proposal while Oakland and San Diego are doing nothing so Roger Goodell should try and keep the peace by convincing the Rams owner to stay in St. Louis.

I guess you never know... If Logan Thomas can go in the 4th, Bridge could go in the 3rd.

Logan Thomas is seriously horrible. Idk what the Cardinals were thinking with that one. Could've taken Murray or Mettenberger, and those would've been way better options.
