Damnit Chip I don't want Mariota or Bradford. This team would have been just fine with Foles at QB.

With the way this off season has gone so far, I'm just waiting for a team like the Lions to trade Calvin Johnson for like 3 first round picks or something crazy.

No... We'll believe in him and move forward with him if need be, but Chip will be calling if we take him. If Webster knows what he's doing, he pretends we're not interested until the offer gets too good to pass.

When a coach shows their hand, you exploit them to all ends if possible. Chip has done that.

I am already convinced we are going QB at #2 no matter what... because a rookie QB buys Whiz/Webster some more time.

Yeah but you don't draft a player hoping for a trade. You draft him if the trade is already in place.

Chip could feel it's not worth it and your stuck with a QB that you probably wouldn't have drafted if you didn't intend to trade him.

You would be gambling just like Kelly is.

I wonder If the Eagles and Murray talking is enough to scare Jerry in to offering him more money or is he full speed ahead with his AP trade plans?

If a trade was already in place, we wouldn't draft him. That's the point... If the draft rolls around and Tampa takes Winston at #1, our phones will be ringing off the hook with calls from Chip.

There will be plenty of talks before the draft... I'm just giving scenarios.

As I said, I genuinely think we're going to take Mariota even without this idea... Gives Whiz/Webster some extra time. They're on the hot seat. A rookie QB gives them an excuse. Plus, we don't have a franchise QB, and we need one. I do like Mettenberger, but there wasn't enough to make a decision on him going forward. They don't want to risk their jobs on Mett.

I don't think people realize how dirty you have to be to draft/trade well.

But I honestly expect Chip to find a way to move up to #1 now... if what I'm hearing about them already owning the #10 pick is true.

Every draft pick comes with some sort of gamble, especially when you're picking as high as we are. Chip is making the bigger risks.

No, but it does involve (from what I heard) a 4th and 5th round pick. Like I said earlier, I believe Chip is stockpiling later round picks so that he can trade to move up in Round 1.

If Sam Bradford is your starting QB, you will be seeing plenty of Mark Sanchez as your starting QB as well.

I expected to see plenty of Clipboard Jesus, and we did. Bradford is every bit as injury prone as Locker.

Chip has something up his sleeve. There's no way he's moving forward with Bradford as his starter. I just think whatever he has up his sleeve is stupid.

Foles is better and costs literally 10% of the salary. Literally. Foles gets $1.3mil this year. Bradford gets $13mil.

It's so painfully stupid.

Special Teams for Colts. I wasn't previously aware of him either, but he reportedly had a team high 15 tackles on Special Teams last season for them.
