I'd like him to be. We need to fix that problem. We need a franchise QB. White, Cooper, Ray, etc are all good picks and would help, but if you do your due diligence and he checks out then you take him. If not, then don't. I'd pick a speed rusher Ray or Beasley if you don't select MM. Then hope DGB is available in rd 2

I hope we pass on him too, but I still have a feeling we'll take him... I'm holding out hope we can get an awesome trade, but it's doubtful. At least we are taking the necessary steps to sell the pick right now.

You guys should absolutely take a shot at him if he's there at #6... Strong roster in desperate need of a QB. If Mariota ends up being good, you guys would be in great shape.

I guess the same could maybe be said for us, but you guys have a much stronger roster right now.

I like our signings so far, but it's all about the draft.

And even if we have an awesome draft, I won't expect playoffs or anything near it.

As of right now, I expect to be 5-11 or 6-10 at best.

I don't mean to be that guy...but I would wait to get excited until after the draft.

ESPN's Josina Anderson passes along buzz from the Pro Day circuit that "some coaches" around the league are "not convinced" the Eagles will keep Sam Bradford.

There's belief in league circles that Bradford will be used as trade bait to get to the Titans at No. 2 overall, where Chip Kelly could select Marcus Mariota. Kelly's affinity for Mariota is well known. Kelly has shown he isn't scared to make bold, complicated football decisions. It's anyone's guess as to what he'll do. We also wouldn't rule out a trade up to No. 1 overall. Bradford's pocket-passer style would fit well in new Bucs OC Dirk Koetter's offense.

Never said I was excited, but when you bring in LeBeau and three new starters on defense, it's a step in the right direction.

And I said it's all about the draft. I know.

Oh I absolutely believe Chip has something up his sleeve. He has ammo to use on top of Bradford to move up... I expect the Eagles to restructure Bradford's contract soon, and now that he has Murray, Mathews, Alonso, etc... he has plenty to use if he wants to trade. Who knows.

The part about him being offered a 1st rounder for Bradford seems so unlikely, but apparently the Rams were offered a 1st as well, but wanted Foles. So it is hard for me to believe that Chip wouldn't have taken that trade for a 1st for Bradford if he really wanted Mariota that bad... With two 1st round picks, it would've been a lot easier to move up to #2-6.

From what I read, the Eagles turned down that offer.

Perhaps Kelly wanted number 12 and Cleveland offered their number 19. I'm not sure. Do you think Kelly is really going to keep Sam Bradford as his starting QB? Not sure how he can have faith in that guy.
