I think the Bills/Patriots are going to get a primetime game this season, but I don't think it will be the opener. But then again, the Rex Ryan effect shouldn't be underestimated.

Steelers Pats makes the most sense and it will most likely be them.



Why would Ridley get a Jets tattoo? Or why would ANY NFL player get a tattoo of the team they play for? It's a business....

Not sure if it means anything, but the last two preseasons had Philly/NE doing a joint practice/scrimmage, but not this year. Maybe that's because Philly will be playing NE? Either team would make for a very good game, and looking forward to it.

In a month or so, Directv subs will be asked to pay for NFL ST, who all is gonna to or try to get it either free or at a lower price?

Why? As long as you are receiving the service for which you paid an agreed upon amount.

Like others, I'd rather get it for free or just pay $100 like I did last season.

I'm still surprised that DirecTV has exclusive rights for it. I thought after the previous contract expired that the NFL would want it on multiple providers.

Even with ATT buyout of DirecTV it still stays with DTV kinda weird. Honestly DTV has over 35 million subs being exclusive kinda works for the NFL the money is made up on both sides very quickly.

DirecTV pays a lot for the exclusivity. $1 billion/year under the original deal, and $1.5 billion/year under the new one.

First installment is not until august I believe. I subscribe for ST since 2011, my first year was free but I havent tried any discount since. I am out of the year agreement and I dont want to get into another 2 year one just in case one day I decide to leave DTV to another provider.

I'm definitely going to be calling to negotiate Sunday Ticket and my overall package cost. My contract expires in August and I could save about $50 a month (not including the cost of ST) by going back to my old cable company. They don't have as many channels or Sunday Ticket but unless DTV will give me a decent discount I think the savings are too great to pass up. I get at least 10 Patriots games a year on regular TV so I could just go to sports bars for the other games.

Oher played at RT for us. We don't need a LT. We need a RT. Can Bell play RT at all? Doubtful, but maybe?

Oher was the worst RT in the league last year.

I'd rather we just take the best OT available at #33 than sign Bell. Barksdale, who we've had for a visit, would also likely be a better option.

Right now, Byron Stingily is our starting RT. That's bad. Very bad.

I wonder what the terms are, it was clear he didn't want to leave the bay area... We need all the WR help we can get, pair him with Amari Cooper or Kevin White, Caar will have some nice options at WR this year
