This almost has to be done tongue-in-cheek.

There is nobody in the world who refers to themselves as "The Deflator" because they want to lose weight.

And they still didn't explain why they suspended two guys without pay who didn't do anything.

*EDIT* To clarify, I do believe someone would use the words "deflator" when referring to weight loss if, and only if, the word deflation was on your mind because of another reason. My friends and I will turn terms into jokes like that.

What's the general consensus amongst the Florida State fanbase regarding Winston? Bobby Bowden really didn't hold back the other day while discussing him.

I don't think it's so much that people "hate" him, just don't want him, and the questionable off-field behavior, being the leader/face of their NFL organization.
As they say a leopard never changes it's spots! Winston is already on the books as displaying questionable decision making skills off-field...now he's got a ton of cash at his disposal....we shall see.
Hey everyone loves to see a success story. Just look at Mike Vick. He's probably the poster child for horrible decision making/punishment/rehabilitation/vindication if there ever was in sports. Not that many after him.
Everyone will be watching so it will be interesting to see what decisions he makes, both on, and off, the field.

To be honest a lot of fans feel like he was an embarrassment to FSU in some ways including myself. I can't wear my FSU gear out without at least one person asking me "what's up with your boy Jameis" lol. If any FSU fan says they wasn't embarrassed at one point or another while Jameis was at FSU is a damn lie.

I honestly feel like people hate him, go to any comment section on him and you will see what I mean. I know the internet can be a vicious place but damn some people go way overboard. As a fan I'm hoping he does have a Mike Vick like turn around, only time will tell.

La'El Collins agent said they were bluffing when they said La'El would sit out the year if he was drafted after the third round and that sitting out was never a serious option:

“We can put it on the record now: We were never going back in the draft,” Smith said. “If someone had drafted him, we would’ve had a long, long discussion about it, but at the end of the day you can’t go back in the draft. He could get injured, gain weight, or 10 great tackles could come out. Too many risks.”

He also said a team that had already drafted four offensive lineman (which only fits the Rams) called him in the 7th round saying they were going to take Collins and that Smith said if they took him they'd be embarrassing themselves because it would be a wasted pick because Collins wouldn't sign, so the team ended up picking a different player. By going undrafted Collins is eligible to sign a new deal in two years rather than three years like a drafted player, and if he doesn't sign a new deal he'll be eligible for restricted free agency after three years which could lead to him making significantly more than he would have as a late round pick.

The Dolphins signed Ryan Tannehill to a contract extension through 2020. I'm anxious to see the value, structure, and the real guaranteed money because I honestly have no idea what Tannehill's worth is.

Edit: It's apparently a six-year, $96 million with $45 million guaranteed, but at this point it's unknown how much is truly guaranteed. That's the same base value as Andy Dalton's deal.

Per a league source, Tannehill receives $21.5 million fully guaranteed at signing.

Another $3.5 million becomes fully guaranteed in March 2016, and another $3.5 million becomes fully guaranteed in 2017. The rest of the guarantees ($16.5 million) become fully guaranteed in 2018.

As a practical matter, then, Tannehill will get $25 million fully guaranteed over the next two seasons — unless the Dolphins cut him before next March and let him walk away with $21.5 million over one year.

I think it's stupid.

If they change anything, they should just remove PATs altogether and make TDs 7 points. If you elect to try a 2 point conversion, the TD is worth 6.

Nice to see Kraft show some honor and accept the Patriots' punishment. You just have to wonder if a reduction in Brady's suspension was part of the agreement.
