All his public actions have made it seem like he's going to rule for Brady, but there's a lot of speculation that he was just acting that way to try and force a settlement. The judge has made it clear he doesn't want to make a ruling and wants the parties to work this out on their own, but he's accepted that there's not going to a settlement. It all comes down to whether Brady's appeal met the legal standard of fairness. The judge seemed very disturbed that Brady's lawyers weren't allowed to question Jeff Pash during the appeal, as Pash was the one that edited the Wells report, and the judge said arbitration verdicts have been overturned over witnesses not being made available during appeals. It truly is a toss-up which way the judge will go. There's a lot of legal experts that think it's going Brady's way, and a lot that think it's going the league's way.

Trent Richardson was released by the Raiders yesterday. That draft had a lot of busts at the top. Richardson was the #3 pick and has already been released twice. RGIII was great as a rookie but hasn't been good since and it appears his time with Washington is coming to a close. #5 pick Justin Blackmon looked good as a rookie but has only played 4 games since due to numerous suspensions due to substance abuse issues and it looks like his career may be over. #7 pick Mark Barron was traded from the Bucs to the Rams for a 6th round pick last season. That's not to say there weren't hits as well, as #1 pick Andrew Luck, #9 pick Luke Kueckly, and #11 pick Dontari Poe are already among the best in the league at their positions, but that's a lot of flops at the top of the draft.
