Great players aren't great on every single play. Esp like someone else said, Sanders had a crap line a lot of the time.

So let me get this straight im not a fan because I dont know one of the most obscure pointless stats in the history of stats? let me guess next youll tell me im not a baseball fan because I believe ERA is a pointless stat and WAR is all that matters?

If it was pointless, people would not ask who has the most negative yard in NFL history and I know nothing about baseball so no comment on that but you are not a football fan since you do not know that Barry has the most negative yard in NFL history which is an important stat for people who wants to know who have the most negative yards in NFL history who overrated Barry has

Clay clearly led with his helmet and it is a penalty for a defender to use the top/crown of the helmet when hitting an offensive player. This was a point of emphasis last season. It's not a certainty that Clay will be fined and according to ESPN referee Brad Allen's crew has only called one roughing the passer penalty since the start of 2014, whereas the average crew has called 7.6, so it takes a lot to get a call from that crew.

Ok, take those 900+ yards off of Sanders career totals and he still has more yardage than Holmes!! By over 6000 yards!!!

Look at the # of pro bowls between the two.

The # of mvp's. Hint, Holmes doesn't have any.

The fact that Sanders is in the 2000 yard rushing club.

And the fact the he's in the top 5, maybe even the top 3, I don't have time to fact check, all time in rushing!!!

What I just gave you is fact. Sanders has better #'s than Holmes.

Any real fan of the game, when asked who was the better RB, will reply sanders over Holmes 99/100.....you being the 100th.

Being overrated is someone's opinion, which you've offered.

Being a better player supported by numerous #'s to back it up is fact, which is what I've offered.

You may think Sanders is overrated, and that's fine, but bottom line is Sanders was a statistically better player than Holmes.
