It's unbelievable how close the Pats Giants games are. It's like they all come down to a catch here and there. Tyree and Manningham catches and now the non catch by Beckham and Collins. That terrible throw down the middle of the field by Brady looked like the Manning to Tyree.

i think the "giants" curse has ended after this win yesterday. we beat them more like the same way they have beaten us in the past 3 games. now if we could get back at least one in the superbowl

Why would he have retired before breaking the all time yrds record which he did yesterday - so now along with tds he owns the 2 biggest passing records.

Today Peyton put on the worst performance of any QB this season comparable only to Kaep against the Cardinals. I'm sure part of that is due to injury issues. But no one can argue with me that he's done anymore. I don't want to hear it. He sucks and it wouldn't surprise me if they start losing a ton of games here at the end. In cold weather he's just going to keep getting worse.

-7 fantasy points too lol... I don't even know if I've ever seen that in my 14 years playing FF. Luckily for me I did not draft a single Bronco in any of my leagues (other than their defense) because I knew Peyton sucks.
Umm, people were saying last year that Peyton was toast, he just looks even worse this year and now even the most novice of football fan can see it. Of course they're gonna start losing a bunch of games, it's only going to get colder and the defense can't carry the team the whole season, let alone when they're missing quality starters like Talib and Ware and Manning is throwing up ducks left and right. They're the main reason why DEN made it to their current win total cuz it dang sure ain't Peyton.

Luck is a very good young quarterback that has been riddled with injuries, surrounded by a sub-par cast with a mess of a situation between his HC and GM. Media hype = RG3, not Luck.

Aaaaaand it just got worse for Peyton:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...lantar-fascia/

Report: Peyton Manning has torn plantar fascia
Posted by Michael David Smith on November 16, 2015, 9:27 AM EST

The nightmare season for Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is getting worse.

Manning has a torn plantar fascia in his right foot, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. According to Schefter, Manning had already been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, but the condition has now worsened.

There’s no immediate word on how long a torn plantar fascia will cause Manning to be out. The NBA’s Pau Gasol missed about six weeks with a torn plantar fascia in 2013; if Manning misses that much time he’d be out for the regular season but back for the playoffs.

Of course, if Brock Osweiler plays well in Manning’s absence, the Broncos might not put Manning back on the field for the playoffs. And if Osweiler plays poorly, the Broncos could still miss the playoffs.

Which means it’s possible that Manning’s season, and career, ended yesterday.

A guy I work with is a big Broncos fan and his son who is 7 really wanted to see Peyton in person once before he retired so they got tickets before the season to this Sunday's game and now Peyton is out.

He's 7, he'll get over it, if the worst thing that happens to him in this life is that he never gets to see Peyton Manning play in person then he's lived a pretty good life.

Peyton Manning is in a steep decline anyway, let the kid be regaled with tales of how great he was at his peak rather than have memories of how poorly he played in his final season. Especially in a game he attended in person.

I was kinda excited about 1 more Peyton Manning v Tom Brady game. Well, the show must go on.

Shame about your young friend fate; hopefully he'll get to see something great another day.

you're a football fan......you know what it's like to see a game and the person you look up to in person.

i'm 32 and made it a point to see a band i've loved since i was 12 before they were done touring.

there's nothing wrong w/wanting to see your childhood hero play in person.

Favre left easier than Peyton. It's really dragged on with Peyton

I dunno about that man, Favre held on forever it seemed, especially with all the waffling back and forth after each season.

It won't get a lot of attention because both teams are awful so not a lot of people care, but you can only imagine how crazy the fans would be if this had happened in a game like Patriots-Giants:

On play in which BALT was penalized for key facemask, Jaguars' LT was not set. NFL admitted game should have ended; Ravens should have won.

Wasn't stuff like this supposed to stop happening after the referee strike a few years ago?

Meh, it wasn't Eli's fault OBJ couldn't hold onto the ball and that a sure-fire INT was dropped. NYG had NE dead to rights.
Luck surrounded by a sub-par cast is the prime excuse he gets. Meanwhile his OL is nowhere near as bad as advertised and there are good players in that offense. And the defense isn't that bad.

Mariota has had a worse OL and worse WRs to work with, but he's been better than Luck this year. Yet he doesn't get the excuses Luck does. And he's only a rookie! Luck is in year 4. Enough with the excuses.

It's all media hype. RG3 was media hype too, but that only lasted a year. Luck could throw 7 INTs in a game and it would never be his fault.

And Idk about everyone saying Peyton was done. Maybe some NFL fans like ourselves said it, but analysts wouldn't think about saying he's done. Living in TN also makes things different. He's worshipped here. Nobody wants to believe he's done.
