AFC is just a very weak conference this year
Other than Ravens and Patriots and maybe Texans and Chargers, there are no real super bowl contenders

Steelers and Colts are done

Haha, the you say it Fate makes more sense when you break it down into yearly average. I'm now regretting that we got rid of Sims-Walker, then again he's been injured since he became pro.

The NFC North may actually have the two best teams in the NFL, who would've thought that 4 years ago? I think the Lions and Packers are both better than the Patriots, probably the Ravens as well.

Yep credit to the NFL for being able to change up so much

if the Packers def. can start doing something against the pass, i'd start feeling a little more confident in the run they could make this year.

they are top 5 in the league in rushing def. but bottom 5 in passing.

losing collins for the year was a huge blow to that crappy pass def. as well....but i'm really happy w/burnett so far this year.

he's turning into a ball hawk like collins was.....almost had his 4th pick last week.

The Lions have to show me a lot more before I consider them one of the top teams in the league. If it weren't for 2 complete collapses they could be a 2-2 team. If they can win their next 3 against the Bears, 49ers, and Falcons I'll think they're for real but it takes more than 4 games for me to put a non-playoff team from last year into the top-tier of the league.

If it weren't for two complete collapses we could be a 4-0 team ourselves, it is what it is.

Coach Jim Caldwell finally confirmed that Curtis Painter will start against the Chiefs this week.
"I probably didn't make myself clear earlier in the week," Caldwell said. "I said this early in the week, that yeah, there's no question, he's our starter, and he's practiced well." Painter may have Tamba Hali in his face all afternoon behind a patchwork offensive line. Only Blaine Gabbert is lower in Rotoworld's Week 5 fantasy rankings.

I love that the Lions are doing well and I hope they make it to the playoffs, if not farther. That said, I don't think they're better than the Patriots or Ravens (and certainly not the Packers).

Still, it amuses me that people think the Lions are 4-0 due solely to other teams' collapses. The Lions capitalized on those "collapses." Good teams can't win them all, but bad teams don't capitalize when the game is on the line.

I bet they at least win 10 games, but if I recall correctly, their non-division schedule is difficult, especially for a team that 2 years ago won 0 games.

Problem for the lions is that the pack will probably win the division meaning the lions will have to win 3 road games to get to the super bowl.

I think that will be rough for a new team like them.

They already won at Minnesota, a place where they had lost 10 straight or some such and at Dallas, I think they'll be much better on the road this year than they've been in the past.

Of those losses you have them down for, I think they beat San Francisco, Atlanta, sweep Chicago. Toss-up against New Orleans and San Diego.

I think they're winning about 10-12 games, they're very talented and I think winning those two tough ones against Minnesota and Dallas will give them confidence. I see you winning 12-14 games though so I doubt they will win your division. Minnesota 2-6 wins, that team is just sorry and 0-4 headed into the meat of their schedule.

lol at least you weren't a complete homer and put GB down for two wins. I say they beat SF, ATL, SD, and Chicago once, which would put them at 13-3.

Lose to Chicago do you not watch football... Chicago SUCKS, Shut down Forte and don't kick to Hester, Chicago is nothing. Det Will lose 1 of there next 3 those are 3 very strong run teams. I would see 2x GB losses a team that wont the SB but lost to GASP DET LAST YEAR, before I see a single loss to Chicago.

Not sure WTF is up with the Lions in the 1st half but in the 2nd half they outscore there opponents like 50-3.

Do they need to show more yes, that I agree, but I do not see Losses to SF ATL and CHI in the next 3 weeks you sir are just crazy.

Go worship Michael Bay some more cause you obviously have no clue.

Det Will go 10-6 or 11-5 Tops...
