Not a surprise. We'll see how the appeal goes because he doesn't have any history of violence and it's not uncommon for players to get the suspension overturned and instead just get a fine. I'm sure a lot of fantasy seasons will be impacted by the ruling since this week will be most league's finals.

I wonder if the NFL will find a way to delay his suspension to Week 17. The NFL knows how vital he is to many fantasy teams playing for titles this week.

I have a feeling it will get appealed and his suspension will get moved to week 1 next year.

His appeal is being expedited so he'll either be suspended this week or won't be suspended at all.

No way should his suspension be lifted. The helmet hit was the most obvious dirty hit of all time. He's lucky Norman didn't get seriously injured.

Could of injured himself just as bad as well imo.

Just stupid and selfish of him to put himself over his team, why Coughlin didn't put him on the bench to cool down some is beyond me and think his days are numbered as Giants head coach. Only a disinterested coach would allow that circus to play out like it did yesterday imo.

Most likely not as he was the one launching into the hit, whereas Norman didn't even know a headshot was coming.
Coughlin, I'm sure, didn't bench him for the same reason the ref didn't boot him: he's a superstar in the league. They were probably both, quietly, hoping he would just calm down on his own.
Makes me wonder if this was some backup no-name, would he have lasted long enough to even receive a third personal foul?

I wouldn't go that far, but he was dirty as hell yesterday. He showed the rest of the league that if you push his buttons, he will react. If he doesn't learn to control that, he is going to become a very obvious target game in and game out for DB's.

News flash, football players talk all kinds of trash. To say Norman had a shot like that coming to him is ridiculous. He fired himself at Norman with the intent to injure him.

I'm just saying depending on what he says, he could be asking for it.

Doesn't make it right, but when you're constantly running your mouth, depending on what was said, you're making yourself a target. Norman succeeded in his trash talk by taking that bit by Beckham. Obviously OBJ should've been ejected that second.

Norman is the same guy who started a fight with Cam Newton in training camp. Dude is nuts. Probably more nuts than Beckham. Great player, probably not a very good guy. Heard him on Mike and Mike this morning. He was understandably upset, but it was funny to me how he kept saying he was going to take the high road while continuously trashing Beckham. Sounded like a massive douche IMO.

Again, not excusing Beckham whatsoever... but be prepared for Norman to be fined too.
