Don't compare Ramsey to Claiborne lol...

Ramsey did drop quite a few picks, but he flies around the ball like no other DB in this class and is what I'd consider to be the best DB prospect since Patrick Peterson.

Ramsey is probably best suited at FS though.

Safest pick in the draft IMO. And it would be really cool to bring him back home where he grew up.

Although DBs never go #1 overall, some would've been well worth it. And if we sign an OT in free agency I think it means Ramsey is our target. It would be nice to trade back a bit for Ramsey, but he absolutely won't make it past the Jags at #5.

We already have a strong FS prospect and it was who came to mind. Claiborne was highly touted coming out of LSU but I suspected we gave up too much for him when he cost us two draft picks. Think if they get 2 new corners to go with Carr and Scandrick they just need to drop the kid. He's proven he will never succeed in Dallas.

Claiborne scored a 4 on the Wonderlic. The writing was on the wall, but Jerry likes dumb players.

Not saying the Wonderlic is important, but when you score single digits, you're not going to pan out.

I have to question how a 4 is even possible outside of someone who is near a vegetated state. I took a sample test of it (which is probably not very accurate) and got a 40. And I skipped two questions because I didn't feel like spending the extra time on them.

Didn't Supah Scam score a 21? Sure there were extenuating circumstances but that's horrifying for a QB.

Dan Marino got a 16, Terry Bradshaw got a 16, Donovan McNabb got a 14, Steve McNair got a 15, Jim Kelly got a 15, and Randall Cunningham got a 15. There's plenty of players that did poorly on the Wonderlic but succeeded in the NFL, and there's a lot of questions about whether the Wonderlic is in any way successful at predicting NFL success.

Exactly! Let's not forget other positions too:

AJ Green: 10
Patrick Peterson: 9
Frank Gore: 6

All three might be HoF material. You can only kick the tires so much.

The true test has been, and always will be conducted on the field.

And Blaine Gabbert scored a 42 so the test is pretty much useless. Only thing it is useful for is determining if you can function in everyday life. If you're not a complete moron you can probably play in the NFL.

Again, I said it doesn't matter... But if you score a 4, it's a serious problem.

Vince Young scored a 6... I see Frank Gore scored a 6, but RB is about the most straight forward position in the game.

The painfully low scores usually signal something bad. Doesn't mean that good scores make great players.

Alshon Jeffery and Muhammad Wilkerson are going to get franchise tagged, I'm so surprised.

The Mo Wilk saga is gonna be interesting, I'm a bit anxious to see how it's gonna pan out.

A Trump meme talking about the Jets winless against Philly, in their entire history...now that would be a good one!

in all seriousness Aldon Smith needs to be one of Oakland's main free agency focal points. Which pretty much means leaving some flexibility to sign him in November when the suspension ends. $60 million in cap space so we should be okay there. He was coming on really strong playing opposite of Mack when the suspension came down. This defense needs him.
