That was the easiest call ever though. He blew the team in two days. Dude was a straight Madden video game GM. So many experts called fans like myself idiots for not having faith in Chip and that his signings of Maxwell and Murray were amazing. I said both were sh*t the second they happened. Chip is absolutely clueless in the NFL. Maybe without the GM job, Chip can have success, but I doubt it at this point. Tony Sporano went 11-5 with his cute wildcat crap in 2008. Then he was figured out. Chip doesn't make adjustments. Scares no one. Easiest team to prepare for week in and week out. You're in complete and total denial of how bad the Eagles and Chip were in 2015. You don't see me getting defensive about the Titans. And yes, we're worse. Obviously. No need to point that out. But you need to come to the realization of just how bad Chip and the Eagles were over the past year. |

Chip, was fired because he's not a people person. I've already weighed in on how more of Chip's moves were for the good than the bad. With a few of those moves still having more time to pan out. With the exception of Maclin(wanted more money) and Mathis(wanted more money), every other player sent packing either got hurt or underperformed. ![]() As you said(and everyone knows) you've got enough to worry about in that dumpster fire called the Tennessee Titans. ![]() |

You can't be a successful head coach anymore in the NFL and be a douche. The days of guys like Parcells, Ditka and Singletary being successful are over. Gotta be something in-between though, clearly nice guys like Garrett aren't the answer either. Although in his case it may just be a blatant lack of football IQ.

Is Belichick a people person? I guess the Pats should move on from him. And anyways... I'd honestly rather be in our position than yours. We have a QB to build around, a new GM, and the #1 pick in the draft. Eagles have no QB, so it's hard to start building something... Especially when the QB is stealing nearly $20mil a year for the next two seasons. Surely the structure will be incentive-based and an easy out after this season. So much fail!
Yes, Chip blew coverages. Chip led the league in dropped passes. Chip couldn't run the ball. Give me a break. I'm not saying the guy is HoF material, but certainly not as bad as you paint him out to be, of course that's your opinion, not remotely close to fact. ![]() Lol, aren't the Titans in this very position every other year? ![]() |

Bringing in Bradford was a very savvy move. A shame it cost our 2nd rounder this season, but if Bradford hits his stride - great.
If Bradford is dismal and/or suffers severe injury, Philly can move on next season, with minimal cap damage. Given all the circumstances, this is the best Philly could've hoped for. Now they don't have to worry about drafting a QB with that 13th pick and can get a top O-lineman. Cut or trade Sanchez for more cap savings and bring back Foles for cheap. In addition to some other cuts, and signing stud DL Fletcher Cox to a long term deal, should have in the neighborhood of $20mil to spend on: G, CB and S. ![]() As always cautiously optimistic. |

Joe Flacco signed a three-year extension through 2021 with the Ravens and while the full details aren't out yet Ian Rappaport is reporting Flacco is receiving a $40 million signing bonus.

Dude, I don't know how many times I'm going to have to break down the basics of football... Eagles were last in TOP (time of possession) every year under Chip Kelly. Do you understand that this is a fact, not opinion? It's like I point this stuff out and all you say is "OPINIONS!!!!" when in FACT, they're FACTS. When you're last in TOP, you're going to get your defense absolutely killed. They will be burnt time and time again because they're on the field more than any other defense. And guess what if the defense is getting burnt, that's on Chip. If the DC isn't making adjustments, then it's Chip's job to force him to do so of find someone else who can. He doesn't fully understand the NFL. If you're last in TOP in college, it can work because of the massive rosters and weaker competition. NFL is completely different. Can't plug scrub subs in and get by. Chip just lets his defenses get killed and does nothing to fix it because he's the smartest guy in the room. Total stubborn ass. He and Ken Whisenhunt would be best friends. Dropped passes aren't on Chip directly, but when you cut Jackson, trade McCoy, and let Maclin walk, you're losing A LOT of elite production. And guess who did all of that? Chip. You can keep making excuses for Chip gutting the team and getting rid of the most talented players, but you're going to continue looking like a full blown homer. Dude, again... You're not able to blame Chip for the run game? Are you serious? He got rid of the shiftiest RB in the game to save money. Lol then he goes out and pays Murray more. But the best part about it is that McCoy was able to thrive as a pass catcher and running outside the tackles. Murray is not that. In fact, he's specifically a between the tackles runner, and Chip refused to use him properly because again, he's clueless and stubborn. I honestly can't believe you're defending Chip so much. I honestly think you just can't admit you were wrong about it, so you'll keep making all the excuses in the world. I mean, hey that's cool and all, but everything I've said is fact. You can keep thinking they're opinions if you want, but you'd be horribly wrong. We haven't had a QB since McNair, so no... We're not in this position often. And yes, I'm aware you're referring to draft position. Well, these past two seasons are the worst in franchise history. Haven't been bad this long for a while. We'll be back. You'll see what an awesome GM Jon Robinson is soon. |

I don't expect much from the Titans, but I'm a believer in Mariota and our new GM Jon Robinson. And we play in an awful division, whereas the Niners play in the best division, so I'd probably lean towards us solely for those reasons. I hope Kaep leaves just so the Niners could become a candidate to trade with us in the draft. |
