It is fun to watch!
I've always viewed FA, and particularly the teams that make big signings, as having missed in the draft and trying to make a quick fix!
I will be very happy if my Iggles just stand pat in FA for once! The whiffs seem to outweigh the hits, across the board.

Calvin Johnson officially filed his retirement papers. There was a lot of reporters that believed Johnson was bluffing and would hold off on making a decision until after free agency started in an attempt to get the Lions to release him since his cap number was so high, but that clearly wasn't the case.

The reporters may have, but his close friends clearly stated on numerous occasions that if he doesn't play for DET, he won't be playing.

Damn they actually bought a title. They already were a playoff team under Tebow, those guys took them over the hump.

As a life long Lions fan, I've developed a pretty thick skin, but it's sad to see another superstar ride off before their time was done.

This is picking up pieces where they were lacking. Not blowing 100 million on one player hoping he takes them to the playoffs.

They actually did sign peyton to 5 yrs $96 million.

You could say alot of $100m contracts really arent $100m.

I'd say most "$100mil/multi-year" contracts are not that, at all. Just a series of one year contracts.

Really glad to see us get Incognito back at a decent price. He had bigger offers from other teams, but he showed loyalty to us. He has a bit of a sketchy past, but he was an absolute mauler last year. I hope Richie can find a similar level of play for the next couple years as well.

Bills, baby, Bills!

PHI signs former BUF CB Leodis McKelvin to a 2-year deal.

TE Benjamin Watson (NO) has signed with BAL.

MIN has released Mike Wallace.

Malik Jackson (DEN) signs with JAX for $42M guaranteed.

Umm, yeah...downright silly money! With the way the cap rises every year, crazy contracts are going to be the norm from now on.

Is it just me or does that Eagles/Dolphins trade seem significantly slanted in the Eagles' favor?

Dolphins are the dumbest team so far... Taking on Maxwell's contract and Alonso's brittle self... Now they're probably throwing a ton of money at Mario Williams.

All while ignoring Lamar Miller who would widely be considered a top 10 RB if that team knew how to give him carries.

I like their moves. It's going to be boom or bust for them. A lot better than playing it safe and be mediocre.

Omg, if the rumors are true and they are swapping first rounders AND Philly gets a 4th rounder....Phillys front office might be arrested for highway robbery!

No way that can be true!
