How did San Fran or Jax not get him in before Washington?

Both could've easily outbid the Skins. Makes me wonder if being in the same division with ODB played more of a factor? Assuming Norman might have potentially left a few million on the table to do it?
Of course Washington is coming off a division title and seem to be ahead of both those teams.

Unless my numbers are wrong, Jax is ~$50mil under the cap! Ramsey, assuming they draft him, won't put that much of a dent in that, courtesy of the CBA. Just thinking about Norman/Ramsey....

I don't think that figure is correct but I may be wrong. Top 51 is at 133 million. Cap set at 155+. Wouldn't that make it 22+? Not sure how overthecap derives that number.

I'd love for the Jags to land Ramsey but I'd be a little surprised if Dallas doesn't take him first.

Read this today and was kind of shocked to hear it. I know Oakland has been pretty bad for a long time, but their fans always seem to show up at games. Granted I have not watched a lot of Oakland home games over the years, but the fans seem like some of the best in the league....that Black Sea...and those costumes! Great stuff! If I was ever in the area, I'd be tempted to buy a ticket just to watch THEM!

As for Norman... I don't like him in Washington - and did not expect him to go there.
I know Oakland has huge cap space, I thought they would have been a player. And of course I was hoping my Lions would have made a move.

Who knows who the Lions will go after at #16... probably another TE

According to Adam Schefter no prospects failed the drug test at the combine. Usually there's a couple idiots that fail the test (knowing well in advance they're going to be tested at the combine) and fall in the draft like Randy Gregory last year.

Really upset the Lions didn't make a move for Norman, they had 16.5 million in Cap space not including the money for draft picks and it would have solved a massive hole in our secondary. But then again I guess why bother going after the best DB in the league last year... new GM same bullshit practices.
