Browns

At least Kessler looked decent in his NFL debut (apart from the first offensive possession), and Pryor had around 200 all-purpose yards. But, only in Cleveland would the Browns lose because the kicker who they signed 2 days ago missed 3 FGs.

I don't know why Hue had Kesslar take knee before kicking the FG at the end of regulation. They should have tried to get closer considering the kicker was having trouble all day hooking it left.

It was a good game for Kesslar to build upon. The team looked good today, for the most part, considering how young, not many known playmakers and the injuries they have on an already depleted team. The best thing was that our QB didn't get injuried.

They had 20 seconds left when they took possession. I'm not sure if they had any timeouts left, but they could have at least made one or two throws to the sidelines.

Honestly, Kessler totally surprised me today (in a good way). Based upon how poor he looked in the preseason, I wasn't expecting him to be anywhere near as competent as he looked today.

The Browns have been playing better every week. And, at this point, that is pretty much all that you can ask of them.

They had one timeout, which they used to stop the clock for the field goal attempt.

Yeah, Hue and everyone saying he was a long-term project that wouldn't, at best, be ready to see NFL snaps for at least a year, he did really well. Kudos to Hue and McCown in helping him get ready for today. Hopefully he can continue to show improvement and worth the third round selection.

All that I care about seeing from the Browns this year was that they show improvement and that the team was buying into the plan and Hue Jackson. No one could realistically think the Browns would be playoff contenders, even if they kept all those players to free agency.
