That's because Schwartz inexplicably kept their two top LBs(Bradham and Hicks) out for the first half. They played nearly every snap after halftime. There's your difference.
Philly still alsmot pulled out a victory playing a sloppy game. Glad they got to face some adversity early in the season. Should be good learning experience for the rookie HC/QB.
Now just waiting to hear what happens to Lane Johnson on Thursday. With the 100% inept way the league handled his test, revealing personal info, I certainly hope this counts in his favor and it's only a 4 game suspension.

Massive improvements. Murray has been absolutely incredible. He's even exceeding my expectations. I knew he'd be solid for us because it's no secret Chip Kelly is a moron and didn't know how to use him.

Nah, we gifted the win to Detroit. I hate having a bye week so early in the season. I think last season it was week5, this year it was week 4.
Just a total momentum killer.
Ah well, just need to go 4-2 in the division, and we should snag a division title. Which I didn't think was a remote possibility 2 months ago!

don't give the kicker a hard time. He's not the one that royally F'd up the snap and the hold. He also wasn't responsible for any of the 5 turnovers. Lambo has been great this year so far. He was probably laughing saying "F*** we suck "

I doubt it. He's being used properly and his numbers are good. I'm sure he'd like to win like everyone else, but he isn't going to pull that again.

As stated in the above post, that's not going to happen. Murray's usage in Philly was pathetic. I knew it was a bad fit when he signed. He made a really bad mistake, but luckily we have him now.

The issue here is, IMO, that he's getting too many carries. Henry should be getting more carries in the 2nd half to further wear down defenses and keep Murray fresh. I don't want a completely split backfield, but I'd like to see Murray getting 20-25 carries a game and Henry getting 10-15. Always depends on game flow, but we need to be running close to 60% of our plays. Mariota has not been great and part of that is due to horrible play calling and our receivers not getting open.

Looks like we signed Jake Long after placing tackle Andre Smith on IR. These injuries for us keep stacking up.

With the news that Andre Smith is heading to injured reserve and that the Vikings don’t expect fellow
offensive lineman Mike Harris to play this season, the next next next man up will be Jake Long.

The Vikings finalized a deal with Long on Tuesday morning. after he worked out for them at Winter Park yesterday.

I agree and it's not just cause I have him on one of my fantasy teams, well ok maybe because I have him on one of my fantasy teams.

Henry though when given touches has been almost as productive, he just gets 10 touches while Murray is pushing 25 plus.

I was really hoping it would Gabbert for at least one more week. Kaepernick in Chip's offense is going to be a giant pain in the butt to prepare for.
