Did Jeff Fisher ever sign a contract extension? I remember the stories that he was either near an extension or had agreed to an extension before the season, but I don't recall any news on the extension being signed.

Agreed. Im a tru Boys fan since a youngin and Im probably one of Romo's biggest fans and I never blamed him for anything. Ive defended him many of times over the years, even with Cowboy fans. The Cowboys QB position is probably the most looked at position in sports so his picks were overblown. I hate fans that love their player one day and then hate him the next. Either support and ride with him or dont. With that said Im a Cowboy fan first and no way should Romo get the job back. You dont mess with a 7-1 team period. I think he will be traded in the offseason and we could land a 1st round pick if we talk to the right team. Got Em!!

Not all Cowboys fans are the same though, so its not really fair to make a blanket statement like that. There are some fans who are annoying as all hell though. I just want the team to be successful regardless of QB! Hell, I was a Quincy Carter fan & that was way before Romo! Tony puts up great numbers, imagine what he could've done with a better O-line in his younger years. Dak will be the future as long as he stay healthy!

Took me awhile to get used to his gunslinger playstyle but he is my favourite Cowboys QB since Staubach. I Salute what he has done for this franchise for a decade and I do hope he can still get a ring. Dak is the future though, glad that decision is not up to me.

Vinny was ok though and a solid vet. I wouldnt put him with the others we named. Quincy couldve been solid if he wasnt sniffing the White Girl lol. Got Em!!

QB purgatory for years then find a franchise QB in undrafted free agency and follow that up with finding one in the the round. That's just unbelievably lucky!
