It's not about hate, it's about star treatment. All pro sports will, wisely, protect their moneymakers! In this case it's a team that draws high ratings. It's all business.

We had bad penalties as well, as far as your punter and your punt returner, they had terrible games.

When y'all are losing it's crickets, but man, when y'all are winning, watch out. Not to mention that there's so dang many of you that when y'all are winning, the entire fan base is chirping and it's total overload. At least that's my opinion on the matter, I can't speak for others here.

Maybe it's cuz I'm a fan of a typically downtrodden franchise, but even when we are winning (which is rare these days), you won't hear much out of me in a forum like this...I take that kinda stuff to a NYJ-only message board so we can all sing kumbaya together.

I dunno man, it's an NFL-based thread with lots of different teams being represented by lots of different personalities, there's bound to be some head butting. All in all though, I think it's mostly just some good natured ribbing in the here...nothing we all probably wouldn't do while slugging a couple of beers with our buddies at the bar, but that's just me.

So what is the purpose of this thread then? Is it not to come in here & talk all things NFL for the current week? Maybe there should be a disclaimer that reads if you are a Dallas fan you are not authorized to speak. Seems fair right? Personally I've been a Dallas fan since '85 & I am vocal regardless of how the season turns out. It gets old being consistently put down because of the team someone likes. Double standards are funny like that though I guess.

I just don't agree with that, there are bad calls against both teams in nearly every game, I could point out quite a few that went against Dallas last night (I thought that game was poorly officiated in the Vikings favor until that Bradford no call). I also saw a ton of Eagles fans whining about the officiating when they got beat by Dallas even though the Cowboys had more than twice the amount of penalties. I think it's just something people say when the teams they don't like are winning. Don't worry, my Cowboys won't win a playoff game still. I think this will be a repeat of 2007 and they'll probably lose to the Redskins in the divisional game.

We got a huge run by Zeke and an interception negated by questionable calls. On the non-call, the Vikings had a false start anyway so it should've been offsetting if you called everything.

Sam Bradford threw that bad pass before he got hit so it was good to see refs not bailing out players with ticky tacky fouls.

Speaking for myself, I'm simply busting balls. I'm an Italian from NY, that's just kinda what we do. No ill will intended, but it is the internet after all, having a thick skin is probably a good thing.
