The Jets used to play at Shea (where the Mets played) until '84 when they moved into the Meadowlands with the NYG. I hate baseball but as a NYJ fan, I always leaned more towards the Yanks personally.

Having worked in Long Island for 2 years, I can tell you there's all kinds of combinations of fandoms in the NY sports scene. Most people in that office were Jets/Yankees, but there were several Mets fans there, most of whom supported my cause during 2004. Not sure I could name any who were Giants/Yankees, but I knew folks were Mets/Jets or Mets/Giants.

I unbiasedly agree. I like when Dallas is doing well just because it's a throwback feeling.

I hope we can pull it off somehow. Both teams on 3 days rest so no excuses. They keep talking about the cold weather but we've beaten good teams just running the football down their throat. Not to mention Mack played ball in Buffalo and Carr played half of his college games in freezing weather. Big implications tho like you said. I would love to see us have home field in the playoffs. Go RAIIIDUUUHHHHSSS!
