Historically, it's a terrible idea to rest the players, especially if you have a bye. You want your guys to stay warm.

Detroit can win regardless. However, in my fantasy matchup for the league I am in the championship for, my opponent has Zeke.

Heh Zeke is playing for the Dickerson record, regardless of what he says, so if there's a chance he can go for about 200 against Detroit they'll probably let him get those yards. I do think they'll only let him play the first half against the hard-hitting Iggles though.

Entertaining game last night. I picked PHI in my pick 'em league, so I was rooting for them, but man, I turned to my lady during the final drive and said, "I feel an Eli pick coming on soon." And then, right before the last play, I go to her, "Here comes the INT!" and BOOM!

Not hating, but it would be funny as hell if you guys lost the very first game and were bounced from the playoffs. This historic season and then WHIFF!

It's not a case of schadenfreude on my part cuz frankly I like the make up of the team, but you guys (the fan base) talk so much crap that it would be kinda funny if karma bit them in the ass.

Heh sorry just excited, this wasn't supposed to happen. No way were drafting a 4th round kid out of Mississippi State and a new RB supposed to propel us to this kind of season. The best part is the defense is suddenly overachieving, just in time for the play-offs. Could be a special season, for a lot of us it feels like the 1991 season when we were close to contender level. A good defensive draft and the right free agency moves and we should win at least 12 games next year too.

It's just that while I knew that there were a LOT of DAL fans out there, it's like you guys were shouting once they started ripped off wins cuz y'all were so vocal and there were so many of you. I've not seen that vocal a fanbase since the Pats* started winning. It just got a little loud is all which is why I poke fun when I can.

I just want to know when we're going to play and who against but for now I will settle for finishing the regular season with a franchise record 14 wins. Kinda sad that Dak only needs 2 play-off victories to tie Romo's total and 3 to pass it.

I'm not, I actually think they'll play the Lions hard, no idea what kind of effort they will give against Philly though since that game will be as meaningless as it can get for both teams, in spite of being a division rivalry. Sure 14-2 but these Cowboys have bigger aspirations than regular season success.

He doesn't speak for all Dallas fans just so you know. Temepered expectations is what is necessary now. I find it funny that most folks who are not a Dallas fan immediately speak negatively towards to folks who are Dallas fans regardless of how Dallas is doing that year or how their own team is performing.

I am tempering expectations. Seasons like 2007, 2009, 2010-13, 2014 and 2015 will do that to you. Not to mention the joy of 3 straight 5-11 seasons. Regular season success is nice but the players know regular season success isn't that good if it's not followed up with post-season success.
