I've discussed this a lot with friends, none of whom are fans of either team, and it's a pretty good debate.
I give the edge to New England because they have been dominant longer, have done this with literally no WR(Moss aside) or RB of note, and of course went to more Championship games.
Now if Dallas just could've won a Championship in 1994...that would've put them on top, IMO.

Yeah that's really good, Montana, Bradshaw and Brady are the only QBs ever to win 4 Super Bowls. We'll see what the next generation can do, a lot of Cowboys fans are already yelling dynasty and our new kids haven't even finished their first season yet.

Vikings have been in the NFL just as long as the Cowboys. Their first ever game was even against each other. We've been to 8 Super Bowls and won 5, how many Super Bowls have you won?

Specifically the 1984 49'ers, which I think was just as good as the 1985 Bears. They went 15-1 and won their three playoff games by a combined 82-26 margin. They blew out what was basically the same Bears team 23-0 in the NFC title game and blew out Marino's best team 38-16 in the Super Bowl.

That's pretty impressive.
One other thing I forgot to mention about New England is they have had their dynasty occur in the salary cap era. While all the other teams did not.
