Are you serious? The Rams franchise value doubled moving from St. Louis to LA. The Chargers won't increase by that significant a number but I'll bet their value spikes at least 50% moving to LA. It sucks for fans but it's a goldmine for Chargers ownership.

Spanos refused every option that San Diego city council presented to him other than $2 billion dollar stadium downtown that he wanted. When we (the San Diego residents, me included) voted a resounding "No" on the prop in November, that was the final nail in the coffin. Sucks for the long time Charger fans but Dean Spanos is a gahbage owner & it reflects in his team.

East coast makes it easier. Home games on West coast can only be played in the late afternoon, so one necessitates a Monday night game.
