I know, like Witten said, they don't hang banners in November. However, I believe they will lean hard on the run today and on the off-chance they'll be ready to stop the run by over-loading the box? Dak will be ready to beat them deep with Williams and Bryant. What worries me is the Pack doesn't turn the ball over so we could easily lose the turnover battle and the game. Cowboys need to have two hands on that ball at all times.

Penalties is the weakness & a drive killer. Pass rush is important but Rogers is slippery & our pass rushers aren't top 5 so that will be challenging today.

I'd rather they do what they did in October. 3-2-6 with at least 1 spy and let our coverage guys force Rodgers to make throws in tight windows. Pick your spots for blitzing because Rodgers will torch the blitz almost every time. Tank, Crawford and McClain will be returning today so that will give the rotation a big boost in a game we need the d-line to be strong for.

One of your rushers is better, yes. But the numbers are also that high because you don't completely trust your QB to throw the ball. Atlanta added almost 5000 more yards through the QB.

And Dallas' oline is better. Switch runners and it may be a different story.

Also, Alex Smith is a damn good player. Not sure why you like to hate on him.

Probably because he was a #1 overall pick over possible best QB ever A-Rod. He hasn't even been a franchise QB so far, there's a reason he was almost run out of the NFL after his stint in San Francisco. Oh and Elliott led the league in both yards before and after contact, so there's that.

It's mind boggling how teams just let him run around for ten seconds. Of course someone will be open by then. Edge contain and a spy so he has to make every throw from the pocket.

About another 4.5 hours to go, it feels like an eternity. Odd how time never passes when you want it to...going to hit the gym for the first time ever(I believe?) on Sunday for a treadmill run. Then a post-run carb load and a late lunch and then it's game time! Atlanta definitely scares me more than they did before after the Seattle game though.

He has had how many coaches and OCs? That's a big difference. Wasn't his fault he was traded or whatever for some nimrod Crapperdick.

It's amazing how much flak Alex Smith gets. He's a very solid and efficient QB.

It's because he doesn't (or very rarely) win games. But he's very good at not losing games.

It's because nobody truly believes the guy can take a team all the way. Granted I believe he would have with the Niners in 2011 if not for Kyle Williams... the following year, with the way Kaepernick was playing, I don't think Smith would've taken them all the way.

Anyways... point being I just don't envision a scenario where Alex Smith is ever playing in a Super Bowl much less winning one.

Lol. Pro Football Focus graded Russell Wilson a 88.8 and Matt Ryan a 75.6 in yesterday's game

That's what happens when you have a bunch of math nerds trying to quantify football. Like they had Richard Sherman as the 50th best CB at one point. Even the haters realize he's much better than that.

Sherman does get burned a lot. He's good mainly because of that front 7 pressuring QBs into bad passes.

Smith was doing pretty good that year actuallu. But they had one hell of a defense too, so I don't credit Kaep. I think he's much better than people realize, but he's been limited by conservative play calling.

An actual football player and good cornerback said Sherman was his top CB for 2016.
