DAL needs to do right by their boy Romo and outright release him so he can go where he wants to go.

ESPN Jets reporter Rich Cimini expects the team to release Brandon Marshall this offseason.
Marshall is entering the final year of his contract and is coming off arguably the worst season of his career. He had a 10-year-low 59 catches for 788 yards, which marked just the second time since 2006 that Marshall was held under 1,000 yards. He also found the end zone just three times after scoring a combined 45 touchdowns the previous four years. Everything can't be blamed on Marshall, however, as the quarterback play was truly atrocious. But Marshall turns 33 in March and is due a non-guaranteed $7.5 million. The Jets are going nowhere fast.

Future loves his Falcons and was so impressed with Matt Ryan’s performance that immediately after the game he sent several child size Ryan jerseys to Ciara and Russell’s for his son to wear. He doesn’t think it’s being petty. He plans on bringing Future Jr. to the next playoff game and wants his son to support the Falcons and be part of the winning squad with a phenomenal quarterback as they make a run for the Super Bowl.

Kessler is undersized and will be injury prone. RG3 hurts himself all the time regardless of the OL. McCown is old and will always be hurt.

They just have three backup QBs. Similar to when the Titans had Locker, Fitzpatrick, Whitehurst, Mettenberger, etc. Our OL was pathetic. Got them all routinely killed. But they sucked on their own.

Browns can't afford to keep passing on QBs IMO.

I think it's unlikely but if he's willing to renegotiate the terms of his lucrative contract it's definitely possible.

Even if they get a guy in free agency, like Tyrod, he's at least serviceable and that's all that's needed. You win from the line of scrimmage on both sides. They can draft a QB in the 2nd round but there's no one that clearly stands out in this class.

Again, just last year, Denver won the Super Bowl from their defense. You can say they had Peyton's greatness but he was a shell of himself, serving as a backup to BROCK OSWEILER for some of those games. He had a completion percentage of 59.8, only 9 TDs, 17 ints, and QBR of 44.96.

QB's are such a crapshoot in the draft. Even more so right now because less programs run pro style systems.

Reports earlier this week had Patriots OC Josh McDaniels as the 49ers' preferred choice, but he bowed out of the search, and San Francisco has now reached the Shanahan-or-bust level. Shanahan can't officially accept the 49ers' offer until the Falcons' season is over, but all signs point to him getting the job. He's expected to again meet with the Niners after the NFC Championship game -- win or lose -- to have his say in the team's search for a general manager.
