Super Bowl should be played at the stadium of the team in the Super Bowl with the best record. I've always hated the neutral field crap, always in either a warm weather location or dome.

Wouldn't be nice if they did like MLB All star game, the winner of pro bowl gets to host the SB. move that PoS probowl to mid season, add more value and importance to it too.

Side note, SB should be played in the elements more often, I hate Dome games.

MLB is ending that.

The problem with placing it at a given location with only 2 weeks notice would only work if the NFL weren't making it an entire week-long spectacle. They also have to know details of the stadium to put on what the huge halftime shows have become.

Watered down corp. crap. You will see with your own eyes, very few real fans @ the SB. that pisses me off too.

2-4 postseason record by Ryan going into this season was probably a factor.

I swear those halftime shows are getting worse as the years go by. Back when I was younger I remember performers like Michael Jackson, James Brown, Stevie Wonder and Aerosmith. These days it's Coldplay, Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga types. Not saying they're all bad, just not as good as halftime shows used to be.

The Giants can play with Biebs all they want on a boat. Keep him away from the Super Bowl.

Yes! We only had one decent (not great) snow game (Packers/Texans) this season. Robbed!

Diva wide receivers are 0-2 in these playoffs following a social media distraction.

Why do you think they announce super bowl cities yrs ahead of time - they even have LA set for 2021 already - cause it takes time for all the event planning + a city like gb could not handle it - even jax was a disaster when they had it.

Also it speaks volumes about your suggestion when someone supporting it:
a) didnt even know they changed the mlb all star rule
b) wants to play the pro bowl mid season - players dont even wanna play when its at the end of the season due to the chance of injury can you imagine trying to get them to play midseason ?

Super Bowls are an absolute gold mine for the city hosting them, no way you could plan them with less than a year in advance.

VIII Jan. 13, 1974 Rice Stadium (Houston) Miami 24, Minnesota 7

XXXVIII Feb. 1, 2004 Reliant Stadium (Houston) New England 32, Carolina 29
XXXIX Feb. 6, 2005 Alltel Stadium (Jacksonville, Fla.) New England 24, Philadelphia 21

So should we already give the Pats the next 2 Lombardi trophies?
We probably won't see a "Nipplegate" this time in Houston from Lady Gaga.

But, Gaga is known to show snatch...

But you'd have to rest the power of the event from the NFL, who totally runs it. It's all about the money, the SB.... that's all..

Unlike other sports Championships that are not played on neutral fields.

Every other sport does just fine hosting home games for championships. You do it that way and it's mostly fans of the home team at the game, the way it should be. No "years of planning" is needed to host every other NFL playoff gams played at a home stadium. The Super Bowl could easily pull it off if the NFL wanted it to.
