Patriots have made their offer to Hightower and it's unlikely to change much. Most of the time Belichick's offers are take it or leave it without much room for negotiation. Hightower's a good player and I'd love it if the Patriots keep him but they aren't going to break the bank for a player that is practically guaranteed to miss 3-4 games a year to injury.

Seems like a waste they are clearly rebuilding and won't be ready for at least 4-5 years. Unless its stupid extra money he'll resign with the pats and add a 3rd ring.

All depends how well they draft. If they hit on a couple draft classes things can turn around quickly.

We've been rebuilding since 2009 and we're still not done yet but we are definitely on the way.

It's the NFL. Not saying they're gonna be competing for the SB in 2-3 years, but they're not gonna be 0-16 for 3 years straight.
