Yeah because I judge trades based on less than two quarters for a guy who just started practicing for a new team a few days ago.

Let our qb learn the system first than lets judge, and McFadden injured his ankle in the first drive, must of been bad for him to miss the entire game... Either way, we sucked in every aspect of the game today

Also i wouldn't toot your horn so soon, you beat one of the worst teams in football the Rams, and as long as you guys have Romo dont expect to go anywhere anytime soon

If we can start running better and our defense can continue to improve, there's no reason to believe we can't let Romo manage us to another 7-8 wins, here's hoping we won't be putting the outcome of too many games on his shoulders the rest of the way. We have
Philadelphia
Seattle
Buffalo
Up next, expecting to go at least 2-1 over that stretch, putting us at 5-4 or 6-3, not bad after starting the season 2-3.

Showing what a difference a QB makes in a rematch of the Super Bowl 2 years ago. Curtis Painter isn't even Peyton Manning's milkboy and he's proving it in this game against an opportunistic but otherwise mediocre defense.

+1

I'm pretty sure I heard Palmer make a comment after the game saying that he knew 10% of the playbook or something like that. He shouldn't have even been out there today, but I don't blame them after having to watch Boller play. They didn't really have a choice.

Well at least some of the TV shows I like have new episodes tonight. I turned off the Colts-Saints game awhile ago. Watching The Walking Dead now.

There is not a player in the league worth 2 1st round picks, I wouldn't even say Ware or Rodgers who are both in their late 20s. 31-7 now, we will see what the Saints do with the ball with just under 2 minutes left before the half.

Yeah, I will be starting that soon. I recorded it so I don't have to watch commercials.

Sproles with a moronic return from the back of the end zone, doesn't matter when you're up 24 points with about a half to play, I guess. I'm still watching but for fantasy reasons really, not because I care who wins the game.

You would be wrong on that one. Any team without a franchise QB would gladly trade more than 2 1st round picks to get one. I'm not saying that Palmer was or wasn't worth what the Raiders gave up, because that remains to be seen.

Here are the most recent Super Bowl winning QB's:
Rodgers, Brees, Roethlisberger, E. Manning, P. Manning, Roethlisberger, Brady, Brady, Brad Johnson, Brady, Dilfer, Warner, Elway, Elway, Favre

I could go back further, but you get the point. Nearly every single one of them is a Hall of Fame QB and only Dilfer was a sub-Pro Bowl caliber QB.

Aaron Rodgers is worth 4 first round picks easy. Franchise QB's are by far the most valuable commodity in the NFL. You almost have to have one to win a title nowadays in such a passer-oriented game. I'd even argue that in some rare cases a college QB is worth 3+ 1st rounders. Andrew Luck is one of them.

Nice to see the Jets pull out that win. Didn't get to watch the game because I was at Halloween Horror Nights (Thank you UCF). Your welcome Navi and all the other Raiders fans for taking SD out while you get your QB situation right.

I would throw Brad Johnson in with Dilfer. That dude was terrible. Nowhere near the caliber of the rest of those QBs.

He had a so-so career, but the year the Bucs won the Super Bowl he threw 22 TD/6 Int for over 3,000 yards. Ya, the defense won the Bucs that Super Bowl, but Johnson was far better than Dilfer. Dilfer had 12 TD/11 Int the year Baltimore won the Super Bowl.

1st round picks are over rated. Especially if the team using them has an awful scout team...*cough*Raiders!*cough*. Sorry Nav, I couldn't help it.
