Well the person they're putting in the interim GM spot is just the person to give Olsen a new contract. Marty Hurney was the GM before Gettleman and he put the Panthers in the salary cap hell that Gettleman dug us out of. Now he gets another shot at ruining the franchise. We're going to be terrible again.

On a side note Jon Beason was on the radio here in Charlotte and said there was a draft day skirmish regarding Gettleman. My guess is Gettleman wanted to trade up for Leonard Fournette and Richardson squashed that so Rivera got his wish with Christian McCaffrey.

I think there may be more to this story to come. Apparently Whitehead does not want to press charges. Who the hell wouldn't want to press charges against a guy who stole your dog and demanded $20,000 ransom? That has to be a serious felony with the money involved.
