Didn't the charges against him get dropped? Six games seems excessive if so. In any case, NFC East got more interesting.

But there was mis-conduct, and he's had several issues.

I don't think this changes the division much. Dallas has great back up (McFadden, Morris) and both look great behind that nice oline.

I'm shaky on the actual details of the case, I just remember hearing/reading that the charges were dropped and he was fully cooperative. And yeah, even if DAL didn't have great backups I'm sure he'll appeal and won't actually serve a suspension right away. But if he does sit out those first six games, there are potential losses to NYG, DEN and GB.

Dallas' bye is Week 6, so a full suspension makes his return on Week 8.

He never got charged, but neither did Roethlisberger and he got a 6-game suspension (later reduced to 4). That's what the players get for giving the commissioner total power in the CBA.

It's the NFL its like any "Job" you don't have a right to play/work you need to abide by their rules and regulations. Even accusations are damaging to the company/brand. They can discipline as they see fit.

I get that, I truly do & understand that they have a standard to maintain. Zeke was never charged with anything either. Probabtion or some type of anger management course should be warranted not a 6 game suspension, IMO.

No this is standard per the CBA for domestic abuse accusations/violations
