Sean Payton doesn't know what defense is! He's had 1 decent DC(Ryan) and he ran him out of town before he could build his defense.

Rob Ryan is a terrible defensive mind. Just because someone was associated with the cowboys at one time in there career doesn't mean they are good. Greg Williams was a good Defensive coordinator, he did help them win a super bowl.

Ryan's schemes are a bit lacking but he knows how to build defense. I wouldn't want him as a coordinator but I would bring him in as someone to have in the war room on draft day. Williams lives and dies by the blitz, I've never been impressed with him.
