Soooo...I read the Michael Bennett letter, then watched the video...must've been a partial video(ah the infamous half video), because for the life of me I didn't see the part where the officer placing him in restraints was holding his gun at Bennett's threatening to "blow is f**king head off".
Also I found it odd that Bennett neglected to mention that he not only hid behind a gaming machine, but proceeded to run when police told him not to and then lept over a balcony to get away.
I wonder why he wouldn't include that in his letter?

I'm sure it will all get worked out, once all the facts are tallied up.

I read the letter.... and I'm sure part of is true (cops making him lay down) but reading it I easily believed that majority of his statement was quite embellished to go along with his agenda.

Never liked the guy, never will.

Police can go overboard at times but it doesn't look like that was the case here. Bennet escalated the situation by running and the police seem to have responded appropriately. What did he expect the police to do in this situation? He's lucky he came out of this relatively unharmed.

Did the police officer have a vest cam, or was it on? That would certainly shed some light on this. If not, that's pretty sloppy on his part.
Either way, I hope we find out definitively what happened.
