Kaep had 1 game (with at least 10 attempts) last year with a lower QB rating than Dalton did today (and Dalton's last week was substantially worse). And Kaep can run.

He also threw a TD pass in every game he made more than 5 attempts in. Dalton still hasn't thrown one in 2 weeks.

And the Bengals weapons are significantly better than what Kaep had last year.

I honestly don't know why McCarron isn't playing yet, though. Cincy had a significant trade offer for him and they declined. Time to move on from the red bomber.

Wrong place man just like the blind love for tebow, people have blind hate for kap. I mean look at the colts how could they not pick him up in the offseason?

On another note I literally fell asleep to this game and woke up for the watt hit. Two really bad teams playing damn.

Speaking on his Week 1 role against the Vikings, Adrian Peterson said he "didn't sign up for nine snaps" when he joined the Saints.
Peterson was out-snapped 31-26-9 by Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram in that order. "I didn’t sign up for nine snaps, but unfortunately that’s the way the game played out," Peterson said. "In my mind, I knew it was gonna take some adjusting. You know, me and Mark played in the last preseason game, AK didn’t even play that game. So with all three of us being out there, I knew it would take a game or so to kind of get adjusted." Better days are ahead for Peterson, but it was pretty evident in the opener that he's miscast in this offense as a running back who offers nothing in the pass game. Peterson will need the Saints to get leads so he can salt away the clock in the second half. He also figures to get some goal-line work.

Pro Bowls is a meaningless stat because nobody wants to play in the game. Dalton's never actually been picked to play in the game, he's just one of the few people that's willing to play once multiple players decline. Last year Dalton was the 3rd QB named to the team after Rivers and Alex Smith agreed to play and after Brady, Carr, Roethlisberger, Mariota, Tannehill, Luck, Siemian, and Tyrod Taylor all turned down invitations, making Dalton the 11th choice for the AFC.
